QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Aug 7 2014, 05:18 PM) The new Cooler Master V750 with 100% Japanese caps: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CoolerM...r/VSM750/4.htmlPanasonic capacitors as the main hold up capacitors, with Chemi-con, Rubycon, Suncon (Sanyo) electrolytic capacitors. There's also an Unicon polymer capacitor on the PSU as well. Unicon is a lesser known manufacturer of capacitors for your information. http://www.unielecs.com/keireki/keireki.HTMLEL, they rebrand the VS750/V750S as V750 now?

It's entirely up to you.

It's fine running your HD6950.

It's fine running your HD6950. wattage is just one part. a typical user won't even reach 400w, even with 250w card and 100w cpu. the issue is more about constant load, in some cases even running a burn in test on graphic card alone would trip the PSU. RM 150 PSU, regardless of what brand, I wouldn't dare to put them on 24/7 full load like say folding@home and such. nothing more than gaming.

The PSU runs cooler. Most cheap PSUs using lower grade parts already reduced the lifetime. Keeping it cooler helps.

Hi guys, first of all apologies for this super noob question. I am thinking about upgrading my GC. Right now, I'm using Gigabyte GTX670OC. Im planning to get the Zotac reference GTX970. Based on this 2 cards, if I were to swap them, do you think I need to change my power supply as well? Thank you.
