Thx! I only concern is whether the new PSU can fit into my ATX casing... This post has been edited by activexxx: Oct 3 2014, 11:44 AM

What about Antec's EarthWatts series? Are they any good? I'm looking for a new budget PSU to supply my AMD A10 - 7850K + 8GB DDR3 2400 MHz, with possibly discrete graphic card added in later;(eyeing for AMD R9 285).

Maybe because it's non-modular though. I'm still thinking whether to get the 550W or 650W for extra headroom for future upgrade.

If you want higher grade, Viewnet selling Antec HCG 520W at RM249. This one is 100% Japanese caps. This post has been edited by TristanX: Oct 8 2014, 03:24 PM

QUOTE(kokeren77 @ Oct 14 2014, 10:54 PM) Any other option than silverstone 450 gold that you know of selling here? Thanks SFX PSUs are rare. You can find them mostly built into SFF casing, or that Silverstone PSU. Silverstone recently released 600W version. You might wanna wait for that if you need more power.

looking for a semi modular/ full modular PSU with 80 gold certified. budget within RM500, the lower the better. Will use to last for atleast 5 years. Seasonic or Corsair? kind of confuse dono which model is best. 550w or 650w will do.
Want to upgrade my current Seasonic S12G 650w 80+ Gold because it is non-modular.
thanks for the help of suggestion.

This is a Tier 1 power supply. The naming for Coolermaster V series can be confusing. Only V700 and V1000 is Seasonic built. Other V series is Enhance built.

Thank you for the reply. after I google around, I found these model: Corsair RM650, Seasonic X-650 Just wondering is the Seasonic X-650 cable is flat black modular cable? (prefer flat black instead of Sleeved Black/red/yellow wayar type).

QUOTE(TristanX @ Nov 4 2014, 04:35 PM) thank you for the reply. Previously that stop me from getting x-650 is because I saw from an unboxing youtube video showing that the cable was black & yellow sleeved . Thanks for clarifying that. Time to go shopping again.
