QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ Jan 18 2014, 07:01 PM) Japanese capacitors are usually with better quality compared to taiwanese or china. (those pregnant caps ) Yeah those are pregnant alright, explosively so. Found an interesting read (http://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=13) but this was so damn long ago. I wonder if it now just marketing or are Japanese capacitors really still miles ahead of normal Taiwanese caps.

Guys, I have a SeaSonic 760W Platinum and it happens to have coil whine, should I go for RMA or leave it alone and get some headphones?

If you are having coil whine.. either live with it, or return it. However, RMA-ing the unit does not guarantee the RMA-ed unit will be free from coil whine.

Sub par caps... I don't know why Corsair used Chicony for the OEM... They should have stuck with CWT/Seasonic... Still, why Corsair doesn't consider Delta as their OEM? Antec has been using Delta for years...

Hey! Im sorry if this questions has been asked before. Do you guys think that it is worth it to spend a bit more for a gold rated psu instead of getting the bronze ones?

Still, why Corsair doesn't consider Delta as their OEM? Antec has been using Delta for years... And for premium price, hell no. Quote from big guy. QUOTE We choose suppliers based on a number of reasons. For one reason or another, whenever we've come close to working with Delta in the past, we've gone another way. They make excellent power supplies, but then again, so does Flextronics.
We have nothing against Delta and may work with them on future products if the opportunity arises.

Anyone know if this 3 years++ CoolerMaster 380W PSU will be able to the system? http://imgur.com/a/oPMZDCore 2 Duo E8400 Leadtek GTS 450 Asus P5Q SE Plus Checked with online PSU calculator and the result doesn't really look good, plus it's old age. Thanks in advance!
