Rig specs?  Possibly the unit has been overloaded...
Note that the 550W Real Power has only 360W on the +12V rail... tongue.gif

7950? shocking.gif  No wonder la...
You should get a quality unit...  Most likely the unit is operating at nearly full load... sweat.gif
The unit may not be able to deliver the rated power at rated temperatures... smile.gif

I'm surprised that your unit still survives... tongue.gif

My power supply is dead quiet and runs very cool though...  It's a Seasonic Gold rated unit BTW...

Not much really... There's the Antec VP550 Strictly, but unfortunately no distributor carry them anymore... sad.gif
The Super Flower unit is better though, and don't skimp on the PSU as this is the 'heart' of your system unit... If it fails and the unit is a cap ayam unit, then your hardware may risk damage...

i am using cooler master 550w,this is not cap ayam and enough watt but why i change to antec vp550,Super Flower Golden Green HX 500W ,corsair cx 500 can solve the heat problem ?
