I'm replacing my old dead 9 YO Corsair HX750 (the old one which is bronze certified) and warranty has already ended to RMA it.

Any brand/model recommendation?

Power: 650W
Budget: +/- RM600
Other(s):
- PSU should hopefully serve me another 6-9 years

Psu broke?

hello all..want to ask...recommend me budget and reliable psu for my build

GC : Sapphire vapor x dual fan r9280x
ram : 8( 4x2 GB) DDR4 2133MHZ

does FSP HEXA+ 550W sufficient for this build?

no money for branded one...the price different quite alot..huhu..but anyway...im curious at the labeling..if we want to select psu, the one mention +12v watt is the correct ways is it?..found many 550w. but the combine +12v only 432w..

Might as just well save up and get a proper one.

A Seasonic S12II 620W costs around RM300, and this is made by one of the best PSU manufacturers around. Comes with full Japanese capacitors as well.

but then..haha..it will be 1 month more. the price i check on sri computer is around 329..huhu..

You can give Silverstone newly launch ST600-es230 or ST700-es230 a try, price very competitive now.

Not a fan of Aerocool's stuff though fine but given the choice of 4 I will go with

thanks..already read the review on ur site for hexa+ and the corsair vs 550W...The only different is the watt value under the +12v ..is this important?

already go to lowyat end up buying fsp hexa + 550w ( this one was big mistake) at 185 ( normal retail price) as im so noob..it hypermarket or what ( cant remember). already ask seller at each shop..then second round going to viewnet, i ask a young chinese guy, he able to give me 170 didnt buy at viewnet first as im comparing solely based on the pricelist sheet..
