i also very suspicious why gold rated psu quite cheap compare to other gold rated psu. but i guess at my pc level, 80+ bronze certified is more than enough.

for my pc usage, you can read here.

Price of the Gold rated PSU is different from one to another because some manufacturers used high end components and some don't.

So you'd recommend the rosewill hive 650 over seasonic 620?

FYI, Seasonic PSU use better components and deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple.

A near perfect score on JonnyGuru's review! " This unit is awesome..." - and that would be our G series 650 watt power supply - more details here:

Hi all,

I'm looking for a fully modular PSU for my rig with specs on my sig. Current PSU is working fine but want to upgrade to a modular unit. There's a possibility I'm gonna get another GPU to SLI, so not sure how much watts I will need for that.  hmm.gif Any recommendations < RM700? Preferably lower price if possible.

Thanks.

Try Seasonic X1050(AM2), street selling price is RM775.

For Seasonic, you can give P1050 or X1050 a try.
For SilverStone, you can give ST1200F-GE a try.

The SilverStone ST80F-TI Strider Titanium 800W Power Supply is super efficient, has Japanese capacitors, it's fully modular and comes with flat/flexible leads, plus the 120mm fan is quiet. All of this comes at a cost though, but some of that expense will be offset with energy savings. Wow!

Jonnyguru gives ST55F-PT a 9.3 out of 10 scores!

"The first Strider Platinum unit I looked at was the 750W model, which turned out to be quite decent and yet unremarkable. The 550 watt version changes all that... it's a much better performer, a better value, and is so far not something you can find from anybody else unless you're willing to go with a deeper housing"

SG13 is ATX PSU compatible, so you can use the normal ATX PSU too.

You can give Silverstone newly launch ST600-es230 or ST700-es230 a try, price very competitive now.
