Hei, I'm one of the s7211 usser, my feedback was s7211 was awsome wit its keyboard design, so convinian and hassel- free, I do lots of reading of report, the built in scroll button and 4 easy acess button makes lots differ and faster, realise myself get irritating when using other brand as the keyboard design are so sucks,

overall was good, not bulky, reasonable smooth, sound quality acceptable, of course no bass( which same as most others); just crashes once after a forced shut down due the gamming lag~ graphic was bad, not recon for playing fps or high end games.

yeah monique,

just too bad it doesn't have internal cam however the sales manager give us some freebies like cam (normal ones) and cooling pad too. It's pretty awesome. Btw i wanna correct something, the batt is 2000mAh, 4000mAh is just optional.

Hey Kev, thanks for the recommendation previosly, i been thinking of downgrading to xp.. but i thought about this comes with original vista basic.. kinda reluctant since i worry that smthg mite happen to my lappie.. i know it sounds funny laugh.gif blush.gif

almost forgot liao, to me (a gal) i think this lappie is a bit heavy, i think around 2.5-2.8kg. I forgot how heavy it was when i first bought it tongue.gif but to me it is the spec and quality tht matters the most. thumbup.gif

i kinda dont agree to ur statement, lol. though spec and quality is good. did u see on the bottom of the laptop, where the laptop is manufactured? most laptops are from china and even my brother's toshiba satellite is from china, despite a japanese brand.

but whatever floats ur boat, some fujitsu's are not bad. just never owned one, as warranty and customer service is crucial to my business nature.

yep yep...

i heard toshiba cheaper wan like ( RM4k ) are made in china while those expensive specs like RM6k above only made in japan...

haiz... that's the reason i get Fujitsu... 100% made in japan regardless the price tag... and so far... many users who use Fujitsu has made the laptop last very long time compared to other brand... happy.gif i don't intend to change my laptop in another 5-8 years time... so hopefully it can last me a very very very very long time...

Im currently using V1020 too but different spec with yours. Normal usage should be ok de. with RM2000 can get Fujitsu is already a good deal. I agree with u its a bit heavy. If u r carrying it around then perhaps u might wanna find other model of Fujitsu like the S series suggested.

But then again DOS.. hmm u have your own CDs huh?

the differences between S7211 & V1020
is
1. weight
2. price
3. HDD space ( S7211 120GB & V1020 160GB )

that's all... happy.gif it's up to u to choose which one... happy.gif

well Frederickk... looking at the both specs...

i can conclude that u might as well get V1020 if u r thinking of getting V1010...

u can get keyboard protector & screen protector from lowyat plaza / lowyat forum here

L1010?? wats the specs and screen size??

well i did saw S7211 ( at that time i was buying laptop... so was wondering between S7211 & S7111 both are the same price at that time RM3999 ) well... i end up buying S7111 coz the salesman told me that S7211 built wasn't as solid as S7111 and blah blah... so in the end i buy S7111 ( using it like 10 months already... quite happy with its performance - it's lighter than S7211 as mine is 2.2kg with battery weight counted )

in the end... it's up to u to get which laptop. since it's ur $$ and ur choice whether u wanna gather $$ to get better laptop specs... but bear in mind... in the future... the laptop that u are saving for might not be for sale... as technology changes so laptop are very fast absolute... like my laptop S7111 i buy last year dec.. then jan i saw that most Fujitsu Retail Shop don't sell this laptop anymore.
