i never un-plug my battery for 1 year plus as im scared of lost my data, and im working long hours everyday. 7 days everyday at least 12 hours. when im realised after tht, i thinks my batt is half gone...

now my batt got about 2 years already...

just now, when im on my lappie with battery attach, it's heat up within 1 hour. any1 know what's problem??

UPS will cost u around RM150-RM200-RMxxx, beside that, it can also protect ur laptop from lightning surge. New laptop battery in other hand will cost u around RM300-RM400+. So I think, RM150-RM200 for a UPS is a good investment, unless u use ur laptop for 1 year then change to a new 1..

Any price for a p1610? My mom just got one, i think it's pretty crappy, don't like notebooks so much, but she claim she got it for rm 7k is that ok? The touch feature is not very sensitive, and it doesn't respond to finger touch very well.

Does anyone own v1020 here? I am very interested in the model. Still doing laptop hunting and thought I had to resort to Acer for my budget, but very happy to see Fujitsu having budget models too

I recently bought a V1020 it's a good deal! with almost the same price and similar spec with compaq /dell you can get a piece of mind with this babe made in Japan
Initially i thought of getting dell or compaq or hp... but i see they are abundance in lowyat like it's lost its value.. so i turn to Fujitsu and got a surprisingly good price for it.
No regret

p/s: please don't buy acer.. u will regret big time

Hi icegal, how long have you owned the v1020? Was it preinstalled with Windows? What's the battery rating (mAh)?

I am from Sabah. Yesterday I went to look at the local distributors and saw that they only sell v1020 without OS for RM1999. I also noticed that they stated battery for 2000 mAh instead of 4000 mAh from website.

Out of topic, I also saw Lenovo Y410 and it is currently my first choice
