If FUjitsu... the laptop is 100% made in japan regardless the price & model...

but Toshiba... hmph... it seems that those laptop below RM8k are made in china... not longer made in japan... so not so solid built liao lar... but QC are good lar..

anyone using S7111 having laggy mouse pointer over firefox browser?

i'm using S7111... but i'm not using Firefox Browser... i'm using I.E. so far no problems... i had this laptop since last year december till now... no problems wat so ever... except the place where it heats up alot at the left side where my left palm rests... either wise this laptop is perfecto...

yeah i agree with moniqee this L1010 is better than V1020 frankly speaking the fact tht the latter doesnt have built in camera anyways the keypad feels ok with me, fake? i think all materials are the same la. Haha

Just a fore-warning to those who are looking for this model.
Get the S7211 or S6410 (EOL) models instead if you're looking for a decent Fuj notebook. Prices should be sliced already

it's sad to know that Fujitsu new model is made in china...

i only knew that Esprimo is made in germany lar... haiz... well... toshiba's line up already made in china few years ago... so i guess the notebook cost has gone up.... haiz... do let us know which model is made in china...

then to Federickk... i would suggest u get either V1020 / S7211... since it's 100% made in japan.

but still i kinda like L1010 coz got 5 colours to choose from..

yea saw from star newspaper today for the advertise of L1010. it's really nice with colour plus with fingerprint sensor. but they did not stated its made in which country, even in their website also didn't state that, so i guess its made in china then.

Anyway V1020 is still a good choice

i've sold a few of the L1010's...
My opinion on this unit:
PROs:
-Specs are fairly worth it
-design and colors are good

CONs:
-The notebook is NOT solid. Due to plastic material used on body.
(You can actually make "bend" the plastic if applied a certain pressure).
Almost all Fuj notebooks uses magnesium alloy to cover the whole notebook except the L1010.
- The notebook is considerably thick comparing to Apple's macbook or Sony's SR series. (I am comparing L1010 to the same price range with Sony's and Apple's competitive model.)

Looks like i'm quite onto the negative side of this particular model.
But i seriously am NOT in favour of this model. Does not live up to the build quality which is expected on a FUJITSU notebook.

In the end, these all my opinions only.... sorry for those who plans to get this model.

well... it's not so expensive now... since they have budget laptop as u can see the price we discuss during these few last pages...

support not so good?? maybe coz Fujitsu laptop seldom have problems... so far no one say anything about Fujitsu laptops breakdown and went to service centre... good mah... Fujitsu laptop are well known for their durableness...

to be frank i never come across fujitsu price less than RM5K those days

minimum it was like costing a bomb

I prefer a tablet laptop if I'm going to get a Fujitsu.I would rather go for other brands if it's not a tablet.Tablet suits my main purpose which is e-books reading.I devour books.

hi i am a s2210 user..i encountered a black screen saying fan error when i boot today..it's the 1st time i got this and before this,when i play the game(or sometimes immediately after booting) the fan gets on and off(from the sound)..and my lappie become laggy everytime that happens.anything i can do with it? thanks..

did u try to reformat ur laptop??

i guess the new line-up is made in china. but now only they change mah... to cater to all kinds of consumer... they are fighting against DELL,ACER,TOSHIBA,LENOVO,IBM n ETC

then maybe it's time to clean those fans?? i guess there are too many dust caught up inside the laptop fan... that's why i heard u need to go for servicing...

Reformat will not help... since its hardware-related issue already.
Far error occurs obviously when the fan is not working already.
Time to change the fan. Or else, your PC will always go black-screened coz it does not want to overheat your CPU...
