i wanna ask something.

b4, i get to the point.
my car is waja 1.6 AT 1st batch(comes with 6 cds changer, 15" rim, mitsu engine)

my exhaust system got rustly as said by the technician and it needed to be change cz the entire pipe is in brown color.

[attachmentid=135996]

based on the pic i attached, the one between muffler and the one look like cyclinde is what? technician said that caused the exhaust pipe got rustly-like-color.

but should i remove the one between those two? or change the enitre exhaust thing to performance type? recommend me.
*
For me, i will change the entire exhaust system.
Im not very sure whether just change part of it will affect the performance or not.
But what i know is if change the entire exhaust system, can increase your car performance. hehe.....
Correct me if i wrong.......

staring from the exhaust 4-1 manifold extractor , exhaust will pass to a catalyic coverter first - then center muffler - rear muffler .
correct me if i am wrong .

performance , i dont think so . but u can put 4-2-1 extractor , then put a bullet to replace the catalyc converter , redo the piping and relocate the centre muffler .

catalyic converter is to convert the harmful gas such as carbon monoxide and nitorgen monoxide , to nitrogen and carbon dioxide ... and other harmful gases to less polluting .

engine oil will be changed .
you can refer to the stuff inside your manual .
by the way , normally they will re-tune your car . if they didnt , tell them to retune and just tell hem lack of power , they will retune ur car.

Go to Autoworld, AsianAuto or WPC. Check out some of his thread.
He spend quite a lot of money on soundproofing.

actually reset ECU is easy , just disconnect the battery .
if you want to reset by computer , which is the proper way , go to SC and asked them tune your ECU , only RM40 .
