regarding the mods, let me get the ball rolling....
i got my waja decat and change to 4-2-1 extractor (zenden) result?? overall the car felt lighter, more powerful at low rev especially around 1k to 2k rpm..... feel a lot nicer when moving around the city regarding the FC? still monitoring.... will post update later... |

noise ar....em, after changing extractor the sound is more towards low humming.....
the low humming noise actually covered the mushroom intake noise.... it sounded more comfortable now mid pipe till exhaust still stock...... no money for further mods, coz i think not much difference also.... |

QUOTE(nuodi @ Mar 28 2006, 01:06 AM) major mods that i've done : interesting! ECU remapping Done by a team of Korean technicians/mechanics who are based in Singapore. Big improvement on low/middle end torque. Another thing i noticed is that my waja can climb hills smoothly at more than 80kph at only 2500 rpm . last time need abt 2.8k. Acceleration has certainly improved a lot, even on my 16'' rims. Accelerating from 80 kph to 130kph is so easy now. have yet to fiddle with tthe exhaust cos is kinda tricky based on what i've heared. definately my next project when got time. how much is the ECU remapping cost u? i saw a company charging RM999 for so called stage1..... ur improvement is similar to mine..... when i climb hill using 3rd gear, with 15~20% throttle, my rpm used to drop, then i have to throttle to 50% to downshift to 2nd...... now can use 3rd gear constantly.... with 15%~20% throttle... revving fr 1k to 3.5k was smooth and nice did ur ecu mod contribute to higher FC?? btw, i am driving waja auto.... how bout u? |

999 for ECU remapping currently is really unaffordable for me...
i am really wondering what performance it will bring to us if both ECU remap + extractor mod is done.... masamura: pls share more about ur campro..... |

QUOTE(exkay @ Mar 29 2006, 11:35 PM) i think the reason for the car to need a bit of hard pressing at the 0 to 60 kmph stage is due to the torque of the engine that only comes at 4000RPM? after the extractor change, the torque comes earlier.... and if i'm not mistaken old waja's engine's torque comes at 2700RPM.. am i right? good to see the new waja comes with silent interior.....no rattling.... mine was juz.... |

QUOTE(BridgestoneRE711 @ Aug 15 2006, 12:59 AM) WAJA OWNERS - MISTU 4G18 WAJA : EVERYTIME U TURN ON THE KEY, LET IT STAY AT ACC/ON POSITION , WAIT THE CHECK ENGINE (YELLOW LIGHT) GOES OFF , ONLY START TO CRANK YOUR ENGINE . IT WILL PROVIDE YOU A SMOOTHER RIDE. but what is the reason behind this?? |

QUOTE(BridgestoneRE711 @ Aug 16 2006, 01:13 AM) ok , the light is becasue our throttle body got a servo &gears. thanks for enlighteningwhen u turn on the light , the servo and the gears inside will do somekind of 'check-up' and the ECU will run diagnose from the servo and the other electrical parts of the engine . hence , if you start to crank it in the middle of the check-up it will shock the system and the diagnose will not be completed . for the campro , you no need to wait , this is beacsue it is running on different system , it mihgt be the ECU will diagnose after the engine has started . i am not so sure on campro's system either . wanna try it this morning but forgotten liao |
