QUOTE(namh @ Mar 9 2013, 05:55 PM) i'm curios with citibank credit limit calculation. it looks like different from other bank. in my statement, i have rm5k spending limit + rm5k installment limit. if maybankard, the installment is part of card limit. means the total of installment will be set off from the credit limit. but citibank, they have separate limit for normal spending limit and installment? so if i make installment, it wont affect the credit limit? just want to get clearer info. because last i know, my credit limit is rm5k only. with this installment limit, i have rm10k credit? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=3338375] for credit card, you can only use max rm5k for cash on call, you can use rm10k because credit card limit can be converted to cash on call OR after u use up to rm5k credit limit, you can cash on call the rm5k turn into instalment, and then u will have another rm5k available as credit limit

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 9 2013, 05:57 PM) @namh, I did ask the before. Ultimately, your credit limit is bounded by the Total Credit Limit QUOTE(shoduken @ Mar 10 2013, 12:18 AM) for credit card, you can only use max rm5k for cash on call, you can use rm10k because credit card limit can be converted to cash on call OR after u use up to rm5k credit limit, you can cash on call the rm5k turn into instalment, and then u will have another rm5k available as credit limit in short, i have rm10k to be use?

Received a call from Citibank last week and they offered me this card. Today I received the card, quite efficient. Nonetheless, this is a lousy card, not recommend to apply for one. But since they offered me so I just take it and then cut it after a year or so. This post has been edited by noname83: Mar 12 2013, 06:42 PM

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 12 2013, 08:07 PM) Citi Prestige is equivalent to what level? Visa Infinite? World Mastercard? My suspicion is that Citibank applied an internal branding of this card rather to use what VISA/Mastercard card categories/level. I have observed that the card is not marked with neither the World/Infinite/Signature which is normally associated with Premium level cards. Update : It just might be the first World Elite Mastercard in Malaysia! chokolato I do not want to be sounding rude but if you have the mentality of Free/Waive AF for Citi Prestige, I wish you all the best as you may not deserve such cards. These are (if I've correctly understand it) true Premium cards from Citibank vs. Citi Premier Miles which I think not a Premium card as many think it is due to the naming convention used.
