Will citibank call to my home number to ask something ? Bcos now im working at kl only my mum at johor home. my mum just told me that there was a malay girl call to my home number and looked for me , and my mum totally did not understand what she was saying . End up my application now already processed for more than 3 weeks but no news . Haiz

Received a SMS from Citibank to offer me credit limit increase. If to accept, reply the SMS.

Then another day, Citibank telemarketer called me to sign up for Auto Debit on Bill Payment and asked if I were to take on a low interest loan or cash advanace (cannot remember).

They tried to offer an increase of 50% from my current limit.

Mine's only 15% of my Current CL...

I think 2% cash rebate on all spending on groceries just at Carrefour, Tesco, Cold Storage, Giant, Everise, Servay, Econsave and Mydin Only

Hi, I have some question regarding Citibank credit card approval.

I never had any credit card before (1st time applying for a credit card) & my salary is RM24k per annum. I just want to apply a card mostly for online shopping.

I applied the Citibank Gold Visa & just received a letter from them today stating that they're unable to offer me a Citibank credit card at this point in time.

Does this mean I will not be able to apply for any Citibank credit card anymore? And will this also indicate that it will be difficult for me to apply a credit card from other bank(s)?

You still can apply for Citibank card in future.

Different banks will have different set of criteria, some are more lenient than others.
