Thanks, I read the T&C too but was thinking if anyone received the hard notice from Citibank regarding their promotion. I am applying for this card as on average I am spending ~8 to 10 cups a week on Coffee Bean.

Is it possible if I open a citibank account locally and link it to my overseas citibank account? Would you recommend me to do this to transfer my money internationally ? Would the charges be on the high side as compared to hsbc? Sorry a bit noob in this.
*
Hi, I have opened Citibank basic savings account locally in Malaysia and you do not need to link to overseas Citibank account unless it is different account type like current account.
I am able to use my Citibank ATM card to withdraw money from any Citibank ATM overseas and they do not charge for overseas withdrawal fee.
The currency exchange fluctuates according to the Visa rate.
But I will suggest you to check with the local Citibank officer as it there may be chargesor services may varies depending on which country you are going to.
I do not use HSBC, do not like their service.. so I cannot comment or compare. However, Citibank is good enough for me so far nod.gif

Hi guys, I bought a smartphone last week on my Clear card and am currently trying to turn in into installments before my due date on Jan 2. However I keep getting this error message below.

"We are unable to process your request at the moment. If you continue to encounter this problem, please call our 24-Hour Citiphone Banking at 03-2383 0000 for assistance."

Called Citiphone on the 26th and they said they will look into it and give me a reply within 3 working days. In the meantime anybody know what's wrong with it?
*
Quoting myself since the issue got resolved. I found out that converting purchases into Flexi payment requires you to CALL Citiphone. Apparently you can't do it online even though their website says it's one of their options. A minor inconvenience I guess.

Just saw in the mail that premier miles card only earns 0.73 enrich miles for every RM 3 spent. Has it always been this low?

I'm not interested with the offer and that's why I don't bother to inspect the SMS details.
