Previous 30% CB promo (Oct-Dec2012):
"A total weekly cash back amount of RM125,000 (“Weekly Cap”) is allocated to each Weekly Cycle and is given to each Successful Participant up to a maximum of RM100 per Weekly Cycle (“Individual Weekly Cap”), on a First-Come, First-Served basis (as defined below) until the Weekly Cap is met." Which means at least 1250 persons qualified for the CB per weekly cycle. For Current promo roughly 3 to 4 hundred will qualify per week, so even you qualify on the first day of the weekly cycle, you still have lesser chances than the previous promo, not "sure get". This condition will kick in if the CB is exceeded: If the Weekly Cap cannot fulfil the total cash back amount for all Successful Participants with a same Qualifying Date, 30% Cash Back will be awarded starting from a Successful Participant with the highest total monetary amount of all Retail Purchases made by the Successful Participant in that particular Weekly Cycle which has been posted and captured by Citibank during that particular Weekly Cycle. So spend wisely. |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jun 20 2013, 07:52 AM) It was spelt out clearly in TnC that the weekly CB cap is RM50k in total, therefore only 333 winners per week. If more than 333 card members qualified on Saturday, then the highest spenders wins. So you need to spend more than rm500 to win. One forumer reported that she spent rm2000 to win the rm150. With these conditions, this promo's CB is harder to get than dec-2012 promo, definately not "Sure get one" |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jun 20 2013, 08:12 AM) You can argue this point with Citibank and BNM. Normally there would be a TNC on all promos. If they dont have this condition what if 1000 people qualifies on the first day, don't tell me they have to look at the time of the day a person qualifies(based on posting date or trans date?). Moreover with the higher spender condition participants will try to swipe more than rm500.Citibank prominently advertised 30% cash back with only rm500 spent in 3 categories. First come fist served is fair and acceptable but the additional condition of highest spender wins is contradicting with 30% CB claimed in the ad. Did Citibank advertised UP TO 30% ? |

QUOTE(mascot_lim @ Jul 9 2013, 10:29 AM) Damn, I thought Just wanna to have a try to apply for this premier Miles Visa Signature card. After all, I think the benefits and privilege for VS is more practical to me, at least will entitled for Priority Pass for 2 times annually, instead of PM AMEX which provide some lounge access only. priority pass that came with PM VS no longer valid since mid-June.I am start to miss PM VS already.... |

Very true. Better to spend rm600 to get a nett 25% rebate than spend just nice at rm500 and get nothing.

Manage to get my principle and 2xsupp PM VS CCs AF waived. But need to use PM to redeem for GST (principle2400/supp1200). Redemption thru CitiOnline requires lower PM 2000/1000.
