how come when I was approach by a sales agent in Tesco but ask them abt the rm300 cash back they don't know one, SA just say got smart tag and other not interesting thing.
so confirm this rm300 cash still got?

Well, I hope SCB comes up with a 10% CC just like HLB WISE CC, with less conditions.

Finally got all my credit cards cancelled. I called the bank and said that I've lost all my cards and ask them to cancel immediately. If they send me replacement cards I will not activate them. Problem solved. Bye bye standard chartered forever.

the rm300 cash back is for online application. I just got my cc last month but only get rm55 cash back on the first month. and the remainin rm245 will get on the 2nd or 3rd month..

care to explain why it is in that way rm55 and 245, and how to get those rebate ie, buying rm110 to get 50% rebate of 55?

that's the latest way that they are giving the cashback..

i applied and got on dec 2012, got straight cashback rm300 in one shot..

but after that, my gf and fren got it in 2 batches, rm55 first to offset GST (remaining rm5) then rm245 come in after about one month...no spending required.

I canceled it after 1 week.. Didn't touch the cashback too.

Just got my visa plat card, the design differs from the one on their website.

Have not activate the card yet, hope to get the Rm300 cashback in one shot

Just wondering, is there a time period before I can cancel the card? I know the annual fee is waived for 2 years, so no harm sticking to it for 1 and a half year before cancelling the card

Please check with your SCB online and see whether there are replacement credit card accounts created to replace the "missing" credit cards. One should not be too quick to assume just because the bank did not send the replacement cards, all of your credit card accounts are not cancelled.

resubmit massage inside the internet banking.
at last, they are cancelled with SMS notification.

Even if they did send me replacement cards, and I refuse to activate those replacement cards, what can they do? Those replacement cards will not activate itself.

My standard chartered CC application is approved, and they will issue two CC for me. The problem is I only need 1 CC, can I activate only 1 CC, and what will happend to the un actiavate CC.

Check with the bank whether the GST is charged even the card is not activated or not.
