Just managed to cancel 3 of my 9 cards with SCB.
ChoicePoints transfer need to be requested when you cancel the cards

this is BS, i was told the same, after some communication and mentioning BNM, they cancelled it for me.

Alright.... I will call again to add BNM to the request.

My batch is earlier... should be September-2012 onwards.
As long as I cancel them BEFORE the GST kicks in, I will be OK.

sorry to say this, rm55 is the only cash back u'll get as u got the Tng/smart tag/15% petrol rebates promo

The one I've opted is Rm300 cashback

From what I understand, they divide it into 2

First will be Rm55, followed by the balance of Rm245 after 30 days.

Currently what i know is ,

1.Online application will get RM300 cash back ( no petrol 15%, no touchNgo or smart tag)

2. Via agent(nearby my office got agent here)
will get RM55 cash back(not RM300) , and plus either touch n go or smart tag
+ agent give extra gift upon sign up which is travel bag(those polo type but duno wat ciplak brand)

still wondering which route to go for... hmmmmmm

I've just called SC cust svc, was informed that the balance of Rm245 will be credited in the next statement

yup i also went through the groupon and later after reconfirm with them 2 times say will 300 and later say will get tng promo at the end just cash back and tng not petrol due to plat cards as i've already got the business plat.

Hmm, not sure about my case. As this is my first time applying the Platinum card from SC. Have to wait next month statement if the Rm245 will be credited to my card.

A customer service rep from Standard Chartered just called me to offer for Balance transfer, which I don't currently need.

The she told me, that I can apply for another Platinum Mastercard since mine currently is Visa, and get another Rm300 cashback,

Anyone got similar offer?
