Oct 13 - SCB called to verify some personal particulars.
Oct 14 - Received SMS saying application approved.
Oct 15 - PS called to help me add more cards and inform me the CL.
Oct 19 - Received BVP

if there any penalty charges if i cancel the card within 7months?

I will cancel my cards next month and I am going to put poor customer service as the reason.

I chose the samsung camera, however on my online statement there is a RM 55 credit and I not yet receive my Samsung camera. I though there should no RM55 cashback if choose samsung camera. Anyone got the samsung camera yet?

Those NEW cards I applied with Free-cash-back needs to be maintained until 30-Sep before I can cancel them

As long as I cancel them BEFORE the GST kicks in, I will be OK.

Probably the guy had a long and bad day.
And retention tactics is failing coz of people calling in to cancel their cards. I mean you can't blame the customer for doing so when practically all of your competitors are just better than SCB when they removed the rewards/cash back/rebates right ?

Actually, I have 1.5 millions point. Standard Chartered just rob RM 5k from me.
I am wondering Malaysia have those authority like oversea which will protect consumer right.
Want to make SC suffer for robbing customer money.
