How long for smart tag to be delivered ?
It's been awhile but I has yet to receive it

Applied online, the CS called and said my application was for the RM55 cashback + TnG card even though the application didn't specify which! Better still, he said he couldn't change the selection....what a waste for the 1st card. Instead, he applied for a 2nd card with RM300 cashback on it. Typical SC, heard of their screw-ups before from friends. Oh well, just use it and cancel after 6 months i guess.

The card was sent using normal snail mail with a plastic covering. Not poslaju etc. just FYI for anyone wondering.

my fren got that too..then he call CS and CS said will be reverted to rm300 cashback next month....he applied through the groupon deal.

btw, i got my card by poslaju too

Huh...basically so inconsistent then...no words to say. Never mind, I just take both cards and cancel it later

the current promo seems flattering to me. planning to get the rm55 + smartag + 15% rebate.
after some calculation, at least need to use petrol rm90 monthly to get the most of it.
wanna ask, is there any difference between applying online and through bank/agent? which one is better? (in terms of faster approval, faster get card, etc)..

The 15% Petrol Rebate is limited to maximum giveaway of RM8.7 million... it's not a permanent feature.

I tot applying online entitle u for rm300 cashback while applying thru agent is the smartag and stuff?

i think its more like rm300 cashback only via online, while rebate 15% can apply by either channels.

Make sure you select the right option if presented online. Somehow my application got defaulted to RM55 + TouchNGo instead of the cashback. Called the sales + CS team and they said nothing could be done. They said I didn't tick the right option on the online form and then it defaults to the TnG, although I don't remember doing that. Anyway, could be my mistake but at least others can learn from it

my application also turned into smarttag instead of the RM300 rebate.
not happy at all.
wonder what will happen if i dont bother activating the card?
dont mind not getting the smart tag.

Added on December 27, 2012, 12:52 pmi called in to ask and they said for the groupon RM300 cash back, RM55 is credited now (then deducted RM50 for service tax). then 30 days after activation, the balance cashback RM245 will be credited into my acc.

wondering how long the card takes to reach you ?

i got a SMS on monday saying the card is en route
but on thursday still not here, i'm just worried that its missing in the post or sent to wrong people.

called up when my card was approved (via sms notification), the CS told me, if apply online, sure is rm300 cashback option.

however, via groupon is diff

Is there any last day to apply for SCB cards to get that RM 300 cash back?

Since it is approaching year end, I plan to apply only in January 2013 and submit in my Jan 2013 payslip which I will get in mid of Jan.

Er, I just recalled that I rejected their offer earlier this year when they called and offered me their Business VISA Platinum. Not sure if they are going to consider my application this round, coincidentally for BVP as well.

Added on December 28, 2012, 2:08 amAlso, since I seldom go back hometown these days. Can I choose the office address as correspondence address but just for temporarily? Just to get them sent my card to office instead of hometown else I'll need to travel back just for this card. (Assuming if they approve my application)

Then, after I receive my card, I need to change it back to my hometown's address, is that possible? I believe SCB has online statements, so I don't really need physical statements actually.

I think they keep extending the dateline. I remember I applied almost the last day of the dateline. Then later found out the promo is still on. That was 2 months ago. Best to check with scb or ps.

When u fill in the application form, u need to put home n work address. Should be fine if scb send to your work place.
