What SCB livingsocial promo are u talking about? Care to show the link as I could not find it at their website or thru googling.

The new rm300 cashback promo has these additional t&c which were not  in the previous promo:

14. If:
(a) the customer breaches any of the terms and conditions of the SCB Credit Card; or
(b) the Bank discovers at any time that the customer did not in fact satisfy the requirements under this Campaign;
the customer loses his/her entitlement to the Sign-Up CashBack and must immediately refund the Sign-Up CashBack to the Bank. 

   
15. This refund may be done by either of the following methods, at the Bank’s discretion, and Successful Eligible Customers agree for this to be done:
  (i) the Bank may charge the refund amount to the customer’s credit card account; or
(ii) the Bank may debit the refund amount from any current or savings account held by the customer with the Bank.

13.  If a New Customer applies for more than one credit card through any application channel during the Campaign Period, he/she will only be entitled to Sign-Up Cashback for one credit card, namely the credit card with the highest Sign-Up CashBack entitlement.
 
Example
Mr A applies through one of the Bank’s branches for a Gold credit card. He also applies online for a Platinum credit card. The Bank has approved both applications. Mr A will only be entitled to the cashback for the Platinum credit card, namely RM300.

this was already there previously, that's why i'm puzzled why everyone got multiple cashback instead

Received call from 03 79528200 this evening saying from sc. Emailed them my income tax returns and ic only, in one hour SMS said approved. But when ask them what card and credit limit they replied wait for verification call sometime next week. Is this normal or Got scam. Pls advice

need to wait how long after u submit online for them to call?

just got the card..

i got the card 9 days after approval, and that time it's 1 day before my temporary online banking password expired..
on top of that i need to go pick the card up from pos laju branch and 2 more days delay before i call and activate

naturely, call up CS to activate card and ask them to trigger another password to be sent to me.

and viola!!!!

rm250 (after minus GST rm50) is there in my account already! 

How many standard chartered bank card u applied?

Make sure you select the right option if presented online. Somehow my application got defaulted to RM55 + TouchNGo instead of the cashback. Called the sales + CS team and they said nothing could be done. They said I didn't tick the right option on the online form and then it defaults to the TnG, although I don't remember doing that. Anyway, could be my mistake but at least others can learn from it

I got the cash back for my 2nd SCB card already. Nice.
