I just got a call from Price Solutions (? not sure if i heard properly). They are offering me another card with $300 cash back. I accepted the offer. Asked them how long I need to keep the card. The person said preferably 7 months for her benefit/commission but no penalty if I cancel it earlier. I'm ok to hold the card that long.

have you receive your smart tag? if yes, how they do it?
my card just arrived and activated... wondering how the heck are they going to give me the smart tag.

i noticed i have extra RM100 cashback. on top of the RM300. the RM100 was credited a mth later. whats this for?

this is the most silly thing ever happened in my life.

I got a sms around december 4 saying my card is approved.

December 7 got another sms saying approved.

Dec 11 got sms about online PIN.

I was expecting i got the card on 12-13. And yet, no come!

On Dec 14, i gave a call to StandChart, they said i gotta wait 7 business day from the day i got my sms. I assume from Dec 7.

Dec 18, its been over 7 business day. I called up standchart, they said your card hasnt been activated. So wait patiently. I asked about the SMS for Online Pin, they said no worries.

December 19, i received my CREDIT CARD STATEMENT!! (WHICH I DID NOT GET MY CREDIT CARD YET)

Today, i called Standchart, this is a serious issue. They checked pos laju tracking, my card was successfully delivered and signed on Dec 6. (according to the lady)

They are now re-issue a new card , ask me wait another 7 business day.

To sum up, i called three times only get my things solved!!

Stupid service!!!!! They should have checked the tracking on my first call.

A friend of mine applied 2-3 days later than me, on dec 14 got the card already.

My wife received statement but yet to get the card

Indicated cash back RM300.

In the statement shows RM50 service tax

RM100 joining fees

RM300 annual fees.

So need to pay RM150?

Annual fees is free for first two years. Call them up and ask for waiver.

Can't say that's right. Cause I always use it 6 months downpayment for 0% interest.

seldom use my SCB plat card, every year just call cs to waive the annual fee and it was done immediately. Occasionally get call from price solution offering PL of RM110k, I was like HUH RM110K, tak payah bayar ok lah.

I just received SMS say my card application was successful.

any idea how long will I get my card?

seems year end, maybe I will get the card next year?

My 2 cents.

If the 2 years AF waiver for new cards is displayed at their website (i didnt check if it is still there), SCB should make it automatic and customer should not even have to make a waiver request.

Yes it's quite silly of them, when u call up CS, they even have a dedicated channel for fee waiver

how long after Price Solution get all the documents that you receive sms saying your application is successful? So lousy coz can't get real answer from the customer service.

Dec 13 - applied online (uploaded some documents too), after an hour, say my application passed preliminary approval.
Dec 17 - PS called me to pass other documents (pm)
Dec 18 - PS said ok with the documents, now for further approval and processing.
Dec 19 - called customer service. the lady said wait for 14 working days from online application, in the system it's already under preliminary approval
Dec 20 - tried calling again (trying my luck). the lady said differently from the one i talked to the other day. she said, upon receiving the documents, application is unsuccessful. i told her PS just called and verified with me, and that the customer service who i talked to the other day told me my application ok, just wait for sms. So she said, just wait then or call PS. Frustrated with the customer service of SB

I got called after 2-3 days just to verify my application coz i applied near weekend already. They didn't ask for any extra documents. I think that same day I got the SMS for approval.

Mine is under the same category, only got RM55 so far, didn't get any petrol rebate for the statement dated Dec 20, and have not gotten the smart tag yet.

now i tried calling them again, they say application stillon process different customer service agent, different answers heheh
