Are you stating this in your personal capacity or as a rep from the bank? Are you condoning such unethical actions? I have been observing that you have been defending these so called friends.

shoduken,

It's almost same, only major different will be credit limit assign to business platinum card will be higher compare to platinum card. plus, the advantage of business network on business events. Most people only apply because the classes is different but however, only platinum will be allow for supplementary card and business platinum will not be allowed to apply any supplementary card.

Not really. I've got principal Biz platinum card and supplementary Biz plat too. SCB can do wonders and ignore all written T&C.

By the way, how many months do u guys usually wait before canceling the card after receiving cash back?

chloe_yee87,

That's why term and condition applied. Just go ahead, there are many people even it stated clearly but still do not understand, when anything happen they keep blame each others such as reversal. that even applied to standard chartered staff even higher levels. If it an offer, then it will be given but randomly it will be reject. The basic principle already stated clearly for usual application is not given. Usually, they will only advice after 6 months for termination. I even saw cardholder used priority banking visa infinite card but actually they are not entitled, without any valid account but limit hold at RM3,000 with income RM2k only.

Credit Score for Credit Card. It's one of the criteria to borrow the total credit limit for personal financing.

I have 2 cards with SCB. Today 1 card was charged GST. I called for GST waiver and they waived, and my other card they gave me the points to redeem for GST.

Only T&C is cannot cancel card within one year. Since my SCB card only used for discount at F&B, so I guess no harm keeping.

Last month ate korean bbq got 15% off with SCB. Ok la.

The person on the phone said that. Good point. Anyway, doesn't bother me since I plan to keep the card if no need to pay GST.

Seems like bank these days like to create T&C on the fly with no black and white.

Jason,

It's not a requirement to hold your card for one year after receive your service tax waiver, you still could do another cancellation request after that.

Jason,

It's not bank that create the chaos, it is the problem for certain agents because they have their target which set by the banks. It almost everywhere today, especially insurance agents.

the retail purchases are not getting anything, so 15% is just a gimmick
effective rate is lower than 2.4% even for best case scenario

the previous JustOne titanium WAS better than this new JustOne platinum sweat.gif

Looks like it is focusing heavily on petrol cashback. A quick comparison, it probably rank between the 4th to 6th best card in that category: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1798403

Does the "overall montly spending for retail purchase" include petrol spend ??
Annual Fee cannot be waived ???

Petrol Cashback give back after 60 days ???

This type of tier cash back seem to "imitate" Citibank Shell Card
28/1000 = 2.8%
38/2000 = 1.9%
48/3000 = 1.6%

ronnie,

As usual process, annual fee waiver can be request just like other type of cards but subject to bank approval. Retail purchase will be exclude petrol transaction, insurance premium and bill payment but can combine the usage between principle card and supplementary for retail purchase.
Petrol cash back will be credit into principle cards only after two month statement, meaningless to say after 60 days.
