Noticed the second cash back of RM100 on 09/11, is it a mistake or any promo that I'm not aware of.
Maybe SCB gave me retention cash upfront as they knew I'm going to cancel the new card? laugh.gif

Thanks guys. smile.gif
I don't plan to confuse them now but had bad experience with my Maybank card whereby keep telling them I need it to be delivered to office yet it sent back to my hometown. doh.gif
*
make sure u only fill in your office address during application
after you get the card, only change the address to your home

Called sc

1. RM200 will be deducted from everytransaction of the acc.
2. Will be credited by to acc after 7 days. (which i think quite ridiculious)
3. cash back need 45 working days.
4. RM68 max per day, the excess cash back will bring forward to next month.
*
1. this is standard across all petrol stations for all credit/debit cards, some even deduct RM250
2. what is so ridiculous here? they money they deducted are not even yours to begin with (debit card aside)

To avoid RM200/250 being deducted, go and swipe at the cashier counter or preset the amount/litre at the kiosk if you are able to do so

the ridiculous thing is they deduct rm200 for EVERY TRANSACTION
standard? i use mbb, ocbc, citibank cc, dun have this thing pun
only mbb dedit card they deduct rm100 for first transaction only
maybe this is NEW STANDARD,perhaps laugh.gif
if i pumped 3 times petrol per day, rm600 deducted
LOL biggrin.gif
maybe next time i try ur solution to avoid deduction smile.gif
*
yes, RM200/250 will be deducted each time because the bank has no idea how much exactly u are going to pump after you swipe
it will be refunded once the petrol station has submitted the final amount to the bank for processing, normally less than 7 days

you don't receive sms from mbb doesn't mean they don't deduct, and i bet you don't receive sms from mbb for most of your transactions

could i check with you guys here if anyone of you still using the SCB Titanium JustOne credit card? is there any benefit on this card? as last month i call up the call center they told me there is no more cash rebate on this JustOne Titanium. sad.gif
*
i'm still holding this soon-to-be extinct card, no more benefit atm
but since i have a few auto debit on it and scb is subsidizing my GST, i will hold it until next yr just b4 my card anniversary

wanted to see what new reward structures/cards SCB is going to launch in this quarter

Looks like the new SCB WorldMiles has the lowest income requirement for a World Mastercard at only RM 24,000 annual income.

*
requirement lower than most platinum doh.gif

EDITED:
Just remembered 24k is the min eligibility to apply any credit card huh sweat.gif

Not too fast folks. You can reference their other product which is the Preferred World MasterCard Credit Card - generally "World Mastercard" class cards have the word "World" above the above. However, this card product (WorldMiles) doesn't. I suspect it's just the way they name the product - confusing but it works.

Personally - the true "Premier" card holders would shun this card as it is not exclusive at all!
*
you are spot on
hence scb shud remove the word "world" from all the promoting stuff

it should be named Standard Chartered WorldMiles MasterCard Credit Card instead of standard chartered worldmiles mastercard world credit card

received a letter from SCB today notifying me about the reduction of my credit limit

the reason given is to minimize risk in fraud and i normally use less than 10% of the CL given laugh.gif

so i thk gone are the days SCB simply giving high CL soon

wow, so low, cannot be lower anymore for any type of cc laugh.gif
btw, you shud reflect to SCB to seriously improve their rewards system, everyone here are applying for the cash back only and then cancelling it after a while whistling.gif

as for me, will be cancelling the obsolete JustOne b4 the anni soon, scb has no intention to automatically replace that card to other cards huh rolleyes.gif

the retail purchases are not getting anything, so 15% is just a gimmick
effective rate is lower than 2.4% even for best case scenario

the previous JustOne titanium WAS better than this new JustOne platinum sweat.gif
