how about the petrol rebate? the 15% rebate will be accumulated until 6 months? after 6 months then no more rebate?

No idea about that as I did not participate in this promo. Others will provide an answer or search this thread for some info.

Just made the call to Standard Chartered.

Was told the 15% petrol cashback will only come in 45 days after transaction and the Touch n' Go card will only come in 90 days after card activation.

Not a very pleasant call too. The operator sounded rude. Can't wait to terminate this card.

Finally I got the email from Groupon for the gift upon applying the SC Platinum Visa,

instead of the Pixajoy Photobook worth Rm150 they gave me the "Complimentary Groupon True Fitness access pass gift voucher." which is a different package all together

Hope Groupon and SC will rectify this sad.gif

When you use the lounge, do you just walk in and flash your card, or do prior arrangements need to be made?

The PP comes with the SCBVI and does not require any special activation or prior arrangements. Works like a CC except you may require to show your passport at some Lounge tongue.gif

I find SCB customer service seriously long way to improve if compare with HSBC or other bank CS !

To be fair, I've called the CS once in consecutive days. First one was rude as hell, the other is as polite and pleasant as other CS.

Nevertheless, agree that scb shud really have stringent quality control of their CS

My first call, the CS officer was pretty polite, but when put me on hold, no waiting tone whatsoever, and suddenly my call got cut off.

My second call, after going through the looooong process again (I don't have the phone pin, and couldn't seem to skip that step, hence I had to be asked like at least 3 times before being asked my credit card number), someone finally picked up, without saying hello, my call got cut off again!

My third call, I was obviously a bit pissed, but I don't think I was rude, perhaps a little stern on my tone, but the way the officer answered me, he sounded kinda impatient.

oh ya..i remember i call once more as well..

this time..it's epic..my phone got picked up, u can hear in the background there's chit chat going round...but no one talk to me directly..

so i was talking loudly to myself, telling them that i hope that this call got pick up by their quality control or whatsoever, and realize how shitty the CS they have laugh.gif
