Ohh. So how was it??? All well and good?

By the way, pal, where did you service your Nikon? Nikon Centre?
*
Sent it to Nikon Center at Times Square, they sent it to Nikon PJ for the repairs. Not sure if its good or no good, have not received back my unit yet.

Does Nikon offer online warranty registration or they still implement the warranty card method? How many days am I given to register my product after purchase?

Thanks.

I think my D40 has some focusing issue now... Not sure is it due to the kit lens or the body, sometimes i have put the focus points right at the person face, but it still focus the background instead when the picture is saved... How much would it cost to "recondition" my lens and camera at Nikon Server Center?

Thanks for your answer, pal! How do we submit our warranty card? Post it to Nikon ourselves or the seller will post it for us?

My friends. I am in a dilemma now. Which one to choose? A bridge superzoom P510 or a high-end compact P7100? Please help me decide. Thanks, pals!

Which one has better image quality? I will go with the one with better image quality.

If you are looking for a compact with good image quality
you can look at
from cheapest to the most expensive, should be the top 3 cameras in the compact range.

Canon S100
Panasonic LX7
Sony RX100

Unfortunately compact cameras are not one of Nikon's camera strength :/

But their dSLR and glass are fantastic!

not in the picture. you can assume all of us in this thread prefers nikon DSLRs to other brands, but it doesnt mean we prefer everything nikon

i think nikon compact cameras are inferior compared to others. i agree with Calvin Seak; those 3 he listed are the best cameras for their respective price range IMO. none of them are superzooms though...
