Thanks for your answer, pal! How do we submit our warranty card? Post it to Nikon ourselves or the seller will post it for us?
*
Just keep the warranty card. And bring together when wanna claim warranty. No need to post or online register

Hehe if you have the nex series you shouldn't get the V1 unless you sell the NEX 1st tongue.gif

Which NEX you have?
*
currently using nex-3 with 18-55...

mostly will buy nex f3 with the viewfinder
i do consider the nex6... but the price is rm2800 vs rm1500 for the f3 with viewfinder...

not in the picture. you can assume all of us in this thread prefers nikon DSLRs to other brands, but it doesnt mean we prefer everything nikon

i think nikon compact cameras are inferior compared to others. i agree with Calvin Seak; those 3 he listed are the best cameras for their respective price range IMO. none of them are superzooms though...
*
Is a superzoom a better deal compared to a high-end compact in terms of photo quality? Some of my pals told me that the large zoom comes at the expense of photo quality cuz you can't have the best of both worlds for a compact.

i like flash only if its indirect eg. bounced or something. direct flash has this weird color IMO

yes that's pretty much the case. why the good compacts are expensive is because of the slightly bigger sensor. bigger sensor needs bigger lens. if u want that lens to be a superzoom, i guess it would need to be even bigger and you wont end up with a compact anymore ;P
