Hi guys, not sure whether I can ask this sort of question here considering this is a Nikon thread.

Im thinking of buying a wide angle lens however im not sure which third party brand is the best one, its hard to differentiate between Sigma and Tamron, and Nikon is too expensive for my price range. Hope anyone can give some suggestion thank you smile.gif

That figure is right... LOL my source just informed me. The actual price didn't change, just Nikon bundled item with it.

Hello! What kind of body are you using?? If its a DX body The 11-16 Tokina f2.8 would be great! Go look for reviews!

tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is actually a good lens. some might say even better than nikon if not for the narrow range. the new "II" model has AF motor too.

if u want REALLY wide, can try samyang 8mm. no AF, but at that wide you wont need it tongue.gif
