Hi guys, not sure whether I can ask this sort of question here considering this is a Nikon thread. Im thinking of buying a wide angle lens however im not sure which third party brand is the best one, its hard to differentiate between Sigma and Tamron, and Nikon is too expensive for my price range. Hope anyone can give some suggestion thank you

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Nov 19 2012, 08:08 PM) tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is actually a good lens. some might say even better than nikon if not for the narrow range. the new "II" model has AF motor too. if u want REALLY wide, can try samyang 8mm. no AF, but at that wide you wont need it Thanks for the suggestion. Im using D7000 currently. Also considering between Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 DC HSM Macro and the Tamron 17-50mm. Any suggestion which one is better, or the Tokina is better?
