^^ The 2nd flash used to highlight her back is on a umbrella also or just bare?
*
Bare flash, because I was too damn lazy to fit the umbrella on haha. But for these rim lights, its best to use honeycomb so the light is more directional.

hmm use a macro lens to get closer? make sure crystal has no smudges?
need to throw more light to the front also.

i havent shot many of my watches yet, but just a couple here for fun.
one of this was using a point n shoot, but both in natural light.

tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is actually a good lens. some might say even better than nikon if not for the narrow range. the new "II" model has AF motor too.

if u want REALLY wide, can try samyang 8mm. no AF, but at that wide you wont need it tongue.gif

Thanks for the suggestion. Im using D7000 currently. Also considering between Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 DC HSM Macro and the Tamron 17-50mm. Any suggestion which one is better, or the Tokina is better?

Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8

If you prefer wider, then Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

Ahh nice.. Is DOF important or is it a way to show your artistic value to the product?
