sb700 just only came out, there will be no 710 in the near future.
all i know is a lot of difference in file size currently im sticking to lossy compressed since when im editing, there isnt much difference I can see
but got many sifu's here, wait for their reply or you can just google your answer

what in the sb700 dont u like?
nothing wrong with it...so dont see what they can improve on if they somehow announce sb710.
afterall sb910 was upgraded with features from sb700.

Flash is something that you will keeping for a looooooooong time. Trust me

Unpleasing depth of field. Either the entire leaf should be in focus or only frontal part of the leaf(from the camera) should be in focus. I noticed that the tree bark is in focus which is a distraction assuming the leaf is the main subject.

EDIT: The weird looking rock below the leaf with that combination of bluish black, white and orange colour is also kinda distracting.

No problem, could've been a great photo. The white balance is alright, the area in focus is very sharp. and you have an awesome lens; the Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 right?

imo, it would look nicer if the whole flower was in focus, cos my eyes keep going up to the flower on top more.
if not, then maybe a tighter crop.

from my experience and my liking, use large aperture tele lenses, one uwa enough edi uwa to capture to whole event, large aperture mid/tele lenses to capture the artist one the stage.
