I cant speak for the build quality, but I can tell you the Mirage does not feel underpower for a 1.2l 3-cylinder. I was carrying the SA and 2 other big guys in the car during my test drive. The CVT being a CVT, it is not as punchy as the Myvi's 4AT, but it does not lag too badly either.

It is meant as a comfortable city car, not a performance car even if it carries the MIVEC badge. I think the CVT made a world of difference for the puny 1.2l engine.

Other than that, for me, the NVH and plastic quality is equal for both cars. Mirage kinda loses out by not providing a touchscreen HU as an optional accesory.

Finally got my car today! not used to it being so light on the steering as previously brutely drove iswara around lol.

other than that nothing much to complain about.

Talk about audio system, I kinda like MY version, touchscreen...nah. Why? I don't have to look at the screen to press next, just need feel the button. biggrin.gif well that just me la.

me at 1st wanna go for the leather seats as well but didnt get it for a few reason
1. RM1500...dn't know consider expensive or not
2. it stated "smart fit" leather seats...it never actually mention what kind of leather they're using
at least for proton, they have mention they're using napa leather

its true...given touch screen, am not gonna touch is as well while driving
if buttons and dail, still can press/touch while driving

My wife loan just been approved.. got 2.5% with Maybank. But I noticed that the price of the car increased for RM100 after it was launched few days ago.. (I'm might be wrong)

check the price list...can be downloaded from mitsu website
if really increase, ask your SA why
mine when she showed me the summary/quotation...the car price is increased RM6k
i directly ask her why, she ask thats for those who take full loan...i dn't understand either

They write very specifically "expected" about the price. My SA also mention if the car sell like hot cake, the price are expected to increase. It may be rise but wont drastically.

the one increase price isn't so fast, maybe jan next year like nissan and ford

you can take the car while waiting for the accessories, after the accessories just go to the workshop and install it.

Got my car yesterday, drive in highway in rainy condition to the max 110 km/h, car still stable.
