tested after show car arrived,
then canceled booking

here's my test drive verdict
handling is like Kelisa, but body size more or less like Myvi
engine kinda noisy for me, even when inside the car while engine idle
but still better than Myvi's lawn mower
overall built quality aren't what we expected in an "imported" car
feels cheap, especially the back seat cushion, feels like those cheapo foam mattress that will get flat after a while.
In order to lighten up the car for fuel economy, they have sacrificed many things, making the car feels flimsy for me
Myvi's build quality are much better and more solid.
For me, aint worth the price they are selling

the engine is indeed noisy, cant expect much from a 3 cylinder engine
but i think they did the soundproof quite good actually, outside its quite loud, inside noise is minimal
well, can't expect much from a 67k car(full spec)
even almera full spec also 75-80k already

Compare Mirage to Almera....you tak pernah kena bash issit?

u go mitsu branch and see and test drive, it depends on your view actually
but why would u get a mirage if u sold of your 1.5L myvi extreme?
and polo sedan many ppl say not worthed..thats why u dn't see even 1 on the road(and VW giving massive disc and gift)

i tought Mitsu mirage more quality than myvi extreme...i dont know this mirage is less quality than the Highest Model of 1.5 MYVI..haha

if myvi better tk 1.5SE..Extreme is too extreme then build quality poored..

u just have to test drive it cuz can't comment cuz never driven the extreme yet

if driving a compact car experience..myvi is ok for me.1.5 engine is very nice..engine smooth and not noisy as PREVE CFE. GPS screen also very nice to use.(even some people said it is a CAP AYAM HU, but for me indeed myvi extreme HU is more better than PREVE CFE HU, which branded BOSCH HU - that i currently use)

only the other part build quality...like leather seats...door trim panel...is not good...maybe i got a lemon unit..dont know la..

benang jahit leather seats ada yang terkeluar..., door trim rapat x rapat....

and after the problem reported to Perodua SC>.they make it worst...the dont put the door trim panel properly to the place...and said it cant be place perfectly anymore since it useing clips......WTHELL..

I test drove both.

I cant speak for the build quality, but I can tell you the Mirage does not feel underpower for a 1.2l 3-cylinder. I was carrying the SA and 2 other big guys in the car during my test drive. The CVT being a CVT, it is not as punchy as the Myvi's 4AT, but it does not lag too badly either.

It is meant as a comfortable city car, not a performance car even if it carries the MIVEC badge. I think the CVT made a world of difference for the puny 1.2l engine.

Other than that, for me, the NVH and plastic quality is equal for both cars. Mirage kinda loses out by not providing a touchscreen HU as an optional accesory.

that i think is QC problem...probably lemon unit

Many people say myvi spec win because myvi got this DVD touch screen system with navigation....

What I like Mirage are:
1. ETACS system.
2. 4 Wheels ABS.
3. Key less entry and push start.
4. Auto Air-Con.
5. Bigger rear leg room.
6. Rear sear are nice and comfortable.
7. Body design to achieve NCAP 5 star.
8. Boot size is big and deep compare to other same class.
9. CBU.
10. Good FC. (This need real owner to prove it )

What I not like:
1. Rear head room are small.
2. The door to open the boot is small, hard to put bigger thing into the boot.
3. No arm rest.
4. No steering audio control.
5. The door handle still using old design.
6. The back window is small.

i am agree with u...^^ same opinion coz i ady compared both car for some time ady n tats y i booked mirage....^^
