not bad actually if u compare myvi's 12.XXKM/L
more accurate is using the trip meter thn use fuel until E thn fill up how many liter with how many KM u travelled
*
Mine currently 16.9km/liter too much jam lately in pj area

To all the owner of mirage,

Just wondering do u guys exprience the petrol pump automatically stop at around 24 / 21 liter although i calculated it to be exactly 29 liter from the number of bars left in the petrol meter

Do u guys pump 97 or 95? found 95 to be less fuel efficient while 97 give better performance and fc.

just wondering though.

when u pump, is your tank empty or what?
becuz the owner's manual say that when u reach the last bar....its around 6 liter left
when it starts blinking mean 3 liter
i didn't test it becuz when i got my car, the fuel tank got some fuel inside already..so i can't really test
*
i am on last bar, i read the manual it say if blinking mean 6 liter or less, without blinking it is on 9 liter or less so it is about 35 - 9 around 26 liter, the petrol just auto stop on 21/24 i guess the nozzle are a little small causing the sensor to pick up earlier than conventional cars. just my thought tho.

not sure if that is the case, any car sifu here care to highlight? icon_question.gif

anyway one more thing i noticed, when i pump 50 ringgit of petrol it shown only 24.xx liter on the pump instead if it is equally divided by 1.9 over 50 it should have been 26.31 liter. is this normal or just the petrol sation i patronize is over charging. vmad.gif

yea normally due to excise tax, bring down accessories to bring down price, and if ur car too good and too high standard while being cheap, gov afraid their dear proton and perodua will suffer slashback.

The one in setapak, you can check it. I can PM if you want. At the moment they only have showroom, they will opening new 3s centre in next month but the salesman can't give the exact date and he himself not even sure.

I will not bring my car to their service centre with this kind of after sales service. Not all service agent like that, maybe one or two but this incident really piss me off cause this salesman really treating me like dirt after i got my car.

Mitsubishi malaysia called me today, still no concrete answer given by them, i will make legal actions if this problem not settle by next week. Do not want to wait like forever...
*
i got mine from setapak one as well, had to say the service sux to the core, i had to travel 60km just to get the free coupon for service and ipod shuffle, zzz never again i will visit this center ever again....

when i reached there, i asked for the coupon they like hoping i forget to ask for my ipod shuffle...

anyway who is your agent?

Added on December 28, 2012, 1:43 amanyway which service center u guys go?

Hi guys, I just took mirage about 2 weeks and this coming weekend will go for 1K inspection service.
May I know how long it will take for this service and anything need to be aware of?
*
well if there arent many ppl then about 30 minute shud be done unless u took it for car wash. be aware of all ur component after inspection, it seem s the knuckle head in balakong service center forget to put back the most fundamental stuff back in. not sure about other service center definitely a ban on that center

what stuff actually

Anyway, did u guys felt that when u put gear on D on traffic light, after a few sec u can feel like the car behind kiss your car, although there is no car behind?
*
They apparently forgotten to put back the hood holder back into place making fall to the engine block luckily it was well designed to the point of not knocking on running part.

yes, i felt that once, i was like OMGBBQWTF some 1 hit me? then see behind was actually kinda far away so i think that is the same sensation u felt. But it is when i hit on break.

Hey guys,

I just clocked 500km. The displays shows my average fc was 11.5L/100km..

Kinda disappointed to be honest sad.gif

body roll was really horrible and ride was worst than vios..now i'm appreciating vios more  sweat.gif
*
Hi RootOfJesse, 11.5L/100km u mean directly on that last day you check? How many fuel up did you take? i think you have the calculation wrong, the average display in count only lasted for the day, everyday is little different. Also depending on how you drive, if u have crazy body roll, i assume that you drove like there is no tomorrow.

to save fuel on this babe, u need to keep around 2k rpm for 70 to 80kmph, 1.5k rpm for 40 to 50 kmph city drive. Also listen to your engine sound if u have high rev sound then most probably u r draining too much petrol on power. whistling.gif

that was on the last day I drove around city.

Only refuel was a week ago, full tank. Nah, even today when i drove with rpm of less than 2k, averaging at 1.5k, it still shows the most is 14.5km/l. i don't see how 21km/l is achievable, must be marketing gimmick from mistu  sad.gif
*
At first i also feels like Mitsu must be conning me, then after i learned constant momentum plus 1.5/2k rpm without much breaking bring my FC to 20.7km/L. Previously i also drove like mad man then noticing the saving was around 14 to 15km/L. Then adapted to the advise given by a promotion video from a dakar rally racer, i did get up to 20.7km.

Today i was at my usual road to work again, normally if i keep breaking then it will be around 11 to 13km/L avg.

even in jam condition today, i achieved 18.5km/L. i keep maximum distant from my front car so that i can keep rolling even in jam conditions. thumbup.gif

Hi Kentlord,

how about in heavy traffic conditions, like in my experience, i reaching 12-14km/L (city driving w/aircon 22degress level 2) but when i reached the jam part of the road within 45minutes of getting stock and slow movement my fc will be around 8km/L.
*
just keep rolling my fren.... as long u maintain momentum, it will continued to save fuel. as for aircon i am at (24c level 1), when reached jam part, slow down to the point of not pressing on the accelerator just lightly touched on brake just to ensure no collision. Also leave maximum distant which is about 1.5 to 2 car lenght apart depending on jam condition just plan far enuff for u continue rolling endlessly.
