correct me if im wrong...the ap set available in market now cant do multitasking? Is the sme set which launch later can?

it can but you need to upgrade the firmware first. the fastest way is download straight from sammobile and flash thru pc odin.

u see, the main reason why i want to get this gadget partly is the multitasking function. I dont want to pay a price with the hassle to go through the processess - to upgrade rom or flash. hopefully sme set is ready with this function...then it would be great.

U can wait official OTA update if u dont want flash with odin.

ok, i watched my girl root and flashed to omega 3.0
now its a whole lot better than stock.

she didnt like kalagas theme so left it as it is. still a nice looking and desirable device.

Yes you can flash any country firmware
I have Flash mine to UK rom to have multi windows. Just took 3 mins to complete flashing

it is very easy to flash bro, anyways i doubt sme's set will have the multi window function because when i checked the box of my unit, it was manufactured and packed somewhere in september this year. so unless your phone is pack and manufactured as of right now after the firmware is out, i doubt that it'll have multi window function.

easy, dont get the first batch, get it end of the year where that time the firmware might already be upgraded

My next test will be Mike android hd another well known developer
Have failed downloading omega as his download sites is deposit files banned here. I use free vpn to bypass but twice neay 90% got cut off

Sorry for this question, but is there any ROM that can make the Note 2 run on plain stock Jelly Bean ROM (like on Galaxy Nexus)?

Still really love the plain vanilla interface of the stock ROM. Don't really like Touchwiz. ><

This is essential stock rom only deodexed n zip aligned
No significant difference with stock
And most bloatware removed
Useful only awaiting mods

im downloading omega 3, another 26mins to go. will post some after thoughts after flashing

Closest is Cm10 but now lots of bugs eg camera not working n direct phone call issues
Running nexus style of rom will mean:
-Samsung builtin phone Special features such as motion control. Smart stay etc disabled
- no default video calls possible
- mhl adapter connection to lcd tv not possible
- most Samsung widgets cannot be used
Temporary root phone replace tw launcher with nova launcher n freeze tw launcher

so powerful fon not possible lah..
