QUOTE(nicregi @ Oct 8 2012, 10:11 AM) Comparing s3 and note 2, I seriously got to say that note 2 is winning by a little. Maybe self preference though Note 2 thrumps highly over S3 on its battery life - easily double that of S3Performance wise i'd say is marginal improvement Buy it, if you need a bigger display and its S Pen features Added on October 8, 2012, 10:18 am QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 8 2012, 08:44 AM) ya, local sets will be whatever tech is available now. LTE can only start in 2013. even then, no idea if any network wants to start LTE on 1st jan itself... so no distri will wanna bring in LTE. not even sure if they can actually bring it in... maybe some regulations, etc... LTE model is a different code N7105but i wonder if AP distris can actually bring in LTE sets (maybe by accident?!?)... though i think LTE sets... ours should follow SG set (radio frequency should be the same/ similar). QUOTE(888kb24 @ Oct 8 2012, 03:41 PM) hi uncle benny, the battery life you meant is even with 3G on? Yes with 3g on browsing alone 8-12%/hourmy s2 with 3g can only last me 6hours max. what about your note 2 now? With 3g on n active notification from mail, gmail,Facebook n tweets average 1-2 % per hour This is more than twice that of note Plus some in between call, sms , YouTube, browsing 1-2 hours easily lastme 14-18 hours |

QUOTE(pcboy @ Oct 9 2012, 01:27 AM) For those who have been using for few days, how does it feel after installing dozens of apps? still feel lag? i think any phone will feel lagless out of the box. but can feel the lag later after using for few days, after restoring contacts, whatsapps, fb, all other real-time notification apps, etc.. mind to give a quick answer? my hand soooo itchy to buy this beast! No noticeable lag with 100+ apps installedGeez this word lag does not exist I would say in the Note2. Cannot comment about games as I don't play games except Scrabble. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Oct 9 2012, 09:18 AM) but sometime they will tease it with a post in their FB page, at least will show the date of launching without indicate pricing or bundle first. Or just showing registration of interest since Samsung Malaysia already announced the official launch day is Oct 11. I think there is normally some tease or some indication when will be the celco's launch date. This time it is too quiet...... or is it us who are too anxious One get used to phone size after , say 1-2 weeks usage. Especially if you have used the Note before, it is quite difficult to accept a smaller display. Pocket-ability has never been any issue with me as i wear baggy pants and deep pockets 3/4 casual shorts. I even carried my 7+ inch tablet comfortably in my pants/shorts pocketsAdded on October 9, 2012, 9:22 am not really, like Benny said, some just cannot accept the screen size. One of them is my wife, she still prefer her S3, saying its screen size is just nice. She find S3's screen quite "big" coz she upgraded from 3.7" HTC Desire. The first thing my youngest son said was " so big the phone" when i got him a S3. He immediately compared it with his 7 year old SE . Now he is very comfortable with it and he told me the iphone 4s was so miserably small and how could people view such a small display for browsing, facebook, tweets , newsfeed etc??? |
