I a noobie when it comes to the android phones. I used iOS for 3 years. I knew nothing about flashing.I have flashed windows mobile devices a long time ago. So I guess if I can do it you have my full confidence that you will succeed. Check out the xda link mentioned. Watch these steps in you tube

Added on October 7, 2012, 5:10 pmThe device that I bought did not come with the latest firmware that has multi windows. You need to flash a new firmware or wait for samsung to update over the air. But I hear that may sometimes take 1 or 2 months as it will be done in stages throughout the world.

I suppose if one is not used to the the S pen one would need a little time to get adjusted to it. It does not come with Polaris office . I think Polaris office is an app that can be downloaded for free at samsung apps. I stand to be corrected.

Coming from iOS6 I found it difficult to transfer all the data especially the sms. In fact I still have not found a way to transfer sms to JB. However this is a problem with iOS and not with galaxy note 2.

So anyone can help me with the sms part?

I bought mine from Expressfon. Warranty is by Brandstar. Speak to Khairul. He gives good aftersales advice. I even called him on Sunday to inquire about the latest firmware upgrade and he had no qualms to help me out

Used my note 2 for 1 week now.
It's a great device. You will have no regrets and wouldn't want to put the phone down. Trouble is you just can't get enough of it. I am darn sure other owners of note 2 will agree with me

Just curious. What was the original firmware number? ?
