Google SKMM and goto their e-aduan website. Tell them that TM said your area dont have 4Mbit Port and this is unacceptable.

hi all,

when i first upgraded to 4Mbps a few months ago, i always get consistent 3.99Mbps or sometimes 4.2Mbps also...

but recently always get lower speed like 3.4Mbps and today after i complain to 100 number, and some technician try to fix, it seems even worse...i get 2.7Mbps to 3.1Mbps speed only....

the technician say will call KL to report slow speed but not sure what else Streamyx can do...

i am very sure last time my line very good and consistent 4Mbps...too bad now cannot...

and how it trigger this issue is my line also recently can drop...then i wait a few minutes and then it can reconnect back...

Added on January 3, 2013, 7:14 pmok...KL streamyx did some port reset and my connection is back rocking !

Sometimes it's depends on your location and area as well as those stupid tm porting .. SNR and line attenuation also can affect the max speed for it..like mine, before changing my old copper wire i only achieve 3.6mbps but after changing to a new copper wire, i can achieve 4.4mbps... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

yes...this is what i was told...but i was lucky my line sometimes showing 2.7Mbps also so that's why i insist they open a report to fix this issue...

but the technician that i got was very helpful la...he say according to streamyx 'rule' of best effort....3.3Mbps or 3.5Mbps is considered normal...

I subscribed to the student package 2 years ago. I can get average of 3.5Mbps. After the two year contract, now I'm only getting average of 1.5Mbps. Sometimes it drops to 1Mbps or lesser and the line is not stable. Especially when I try to download torrent files using BitComet.

Complained to to TM, and the technician just say that the telephone line that was giving problem. Should I change all my new telephone line? The price is different for 4mbps now compared to what I was paying for before. sad.gif

3.5mbps is consider a normal speed for streamyx 4mbps...if your speed constantly fall below 3mpbs then you can make a report to them..

Might be need to change your telephone line...check line attenuation value 1st....if more then 30db for dl/ul, then i suggest you change your telephone line... basically this problem will solve after you changing the wire.. but if still the same, complaint to TM rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
