tang need train it to eat pallets else will die of mulnutrition, certain tang doesn't take flakes, certain only glaze algae or even specific type of algae only, some need live plankton

clown is pig, will eat almost everything, overfeed will kill them

goby not recommended for new tank, most goby only eat live pod so if your tank less thank 6months than can forget it,
unless u train it to take frozen food.

damsel can throw away

before go buy any fish , study first , buy a book, check the internet or else don't buy, better leave them in the ocean

agree with alex, screw damsels.

My brine shimp cost Rm2 only lol.

I saw a goby eating cabbage =.= and in another shop i saw the same species of goby feeding on brine shrimp and pellets.

For tangs you might want to ask the lfs what they feed it. If the tangs are accustomed to pellets then saves u lots of trouble.

occasionally some LFS will sell but expensive, live pod u can breed with big refugium in your sump tank or your tank is big , lots of hiding places and the pod already grow until the level which it's population won't be wipe out totally by the goby.

goby to eat bbs & pallets , this require lots of patient and time to train.

hey there dont worry, your rock is fine.

Are you currently adding any photosyntethic/ denitryfying bacteria into your tank now? If so, dont worry the bacteria will colonize the rock. Its all good.

next time get a coke botol, cut the end part but not all, so can flip it to close the entrance, cut a hole at the side so can put a suction plug to hold it to the glass. put a pcs of mirror inside, the stupid fish will attack and you can get it out easily.

put the new sand in, do a big wc and dump the water from old tank to your new one. cycle it until ready. move your life stock.
wash the old sand and dry it before add it into your new tank. icon_rolleyes.gif
