Hi there! I'm a newbie in here., very good forum. Got alot of info that I've been lookin for. But too bad cause y'day I think Lowyat server got problem, can't log in. Anyway, I baught few piece of livestone y'day and I didn know is alive until i came in here today. I taught the stone is dead, so I soak in a pale of tap water about 25min to wash out all those dirty thing in it. Now after reading this forum only I know those purple and green colour on my stone is actually alive!!! I alredy put in my new tank for cycle but I think most propably I've killed those rock Any help?

Hi, Thx!! I didn't put any of the mention above. only some liquid to speed up the cycle process advise by the seller. Can't wait to bring back some Nemo and Tangs!!! Below is my tank Pic. Is a small tank, just wanna keep few fish. Have been cycle for 4 days now. Any comment?

haha.... I really have no idea how big is my tank But I've ask the seller if I can keep this type of fish if I get this size, he said is ok if i choose those very small blue tangs (2-3cm). I saw his shop got alot small ones.

Wow Namgor, how did u know the size of my tank? Not bad..... Thx!! Well, I think I'll take out those Damsell off my list cause alot ppl said that they are not a good neighbour for other fish. So, I guess only Nemo x 3, Tangs x 2 and mandarin fish x 1. I LOVE mandarin fish so much!!! I taught of making collection only for all type of mandarin fish. But it will be in future when I have more$$$$

Hi Edthrax, Yeah, since I'm a beginner I just play with small tank first. In future if I'm more expert then I'll move to bigger tank. Wat do your tang eat? pallet?

Hi Alex and Evrae, thx for giving me those superb info! If not I'll mistakenly buy only 3 nemo! So ofcourse I'll get 2 or 4 Nemo. And for Tangs the shop owner already kept 1 pair aside for me. It's been a week now, so if I go and get them I should be able to see whether they hav white spot rite? And for mandarin fish, I've read they r quite hard to handle, so I won't get it any soon until I'm more expirience.

Well, not sure if my tank is really 10 gallon but today when I wan to buy some Nemo, there are no Nemo for sale. I've went to 2 shop also is out of stock:( any recommend where I can get some Nemo in Cheras with good price?

Oh ya, y'day I saw a crab coming out fr my livestone carrying a bunch of egg, so I have to take out all my stone and catch it. Sorry crab....

Hi Avrae, well I saw a forum saying he saw crab coming out fr his stone and catch his Nemo, I don want that to happen to my fish! And they say is better to take out any life thingy comin out fr stone prevent trouble they giv in future...

Woohoo...!! got my 1st Nemo today, I think he or she is very happy in my thank cause it can't stop nibling the livestone, I think there must be a lot of titbits for it to eat.

I scared after the crab grow big d my fish cannot fight him, summo she is carrying so much egg, later my tank full of crab!! Wow, U can a lot of $$ by collecting at d seaside, u stay in which island?

Yup, I took out alredy. Lucky when I take out the stone it didn't run in to the hole! The crab is just plain black colour, I dun mind keeping if she was colourful. I just got my self a firefish, he have been hiding for 2days now. Hope he won't starve to death!! Very pretty little fish! Purple line on top of d head, pink colour eye and yellow colour face. Just luv it!!!

I bought my fire fish for 15 at pasar Pudu, it only have 2 and I took 1. Not sure whether the other 1 have sold. And I think he got Chakii Clown as well cause I saw the colour very similiar. U can go have a look...

LOL.. Sorry, didn't know ur fr Melaka. Should have know u earlier cause I just came back fr Jonker Street last week, if not can help u buy..

Sure, no problem. i might be going again on Chinese New Year but the problem is I dont think the shop will open on Public Holiday?

Well, it start to come out y'day for a while but if u go near d tank it will go hiding again. I wanna know if my firefish is surviving and eating well for 5days now, does it mean tat my tank is fully cycle ? Cause I dun dare to add more fish yet..

not long - 2week ++, but my fire fish seems to be ok. he breath ok, he start eating. hmmmm..... I taught of gettin a red blood shrimp

I like to ask do skunk cleaner shrimp and red blood shrimp only can survive in cold temp? I want to get 1 but the shop owner told me I need to have chiller if not it will die... any shrimp clean like them but can survive in normal water condition?

Hi Evrae, do u put chiller in ur tank? Or is ur skunk living in normal water temp condition?

yea!!! Just got my self some maroon clown ( sorry la, pic very blur ) But there are always swimming at that same spot, kjavascript:emoticon(':sweat:') don't know when they will start to swim around Do I need to turn on the light the whole day then only they come out? cause my Blue Tang does that. if I turn off the light, he will swim back to the rock and hide untill i turn on the light. But I don want algae problem

Thx guys, I buy 2 for 40. Got some discount. But I'm very sad cause my fire fish It's dead. Dunno y, cause for last 2 week he is fine, even yesterday he still come out for food but not sure whether he got some cause he don't swim around for food but only wait for the food to drop infront of him. No sign of attack and is not crowded. Only 4 fish in 15 gallon. Water is fine cause if not he's alredy dead within the 1st week. The only reason I got is maybe he starve to death but I taught fish can survive few days without food rite? I guess i'll get more nemo next time, at least they swim around. I don't like fish that hides, make my tank empty. Any advise?
