Wow...then you need lot of kg of sand bed. If it is just FOT. If you want to keep coral...then you need lot of live rocks, at least 2-3 MHs. Chiller is a must...big protein skimmer. easily cost around RM5K for just the equipments.

Gaaak RM5k... shocking.gif

I'm quitting before I spend too much... cry.gif so sad maybe later when I got more cash I'll try again. Love the idea of a mini GBF in my house.

sorry ah outta topic subject ... i've always been a fresh water fish rearer all the while, last week i went to a pet shop and saw this weird looking fish. it has big sleepy eyes, long and colorful redish body and the reason i like it - its very responsive follow my fingers when i play with it. going for RM38 n the one and only SUPER RED GAMMA, i thought of making it my first marine fish in a few days time. but then when i went again sold liow. i tried googling for this fish's infos but cant find .. oni got gamma fish food knn.. anyone can provide me infos on this fish name red gamma?

can't help if that name is one simply given by the shop.

tropheus moorii is called firefox. haha.........what a name.

Marine/Reef tank can use tap water? I read at some site say cannot and not good. But I use it for my marine tanks.. no problem so far. And any other water source is expensive for me, cannot afford. unsure.gif
