Same problem with you, so i tried juice defender(free) and i see vast improvement in battery during idle, some app are active during idle thus using the battery. Nexus 7 seem to be fully automated so need to do some fine tuning

Basically, from what i understand what juice defender does, it just switch off the wifi while idle, I also turn OFF autosyncing, autoupdate app and other app that require syncing.

From what i observed my battery now doesn't leak as much as before, hope this help

Now that's international warranty done right.
N7 not available in china, unit grey import from hong kong, exploded when charging but yet still replace a new unit to the owner.

Hhmmm... I had sent in my Nexus 7 for the 3rd time on 08/10/2012. Then they said they will replace a new unit for me. Time to replace? ETA is 25/10/2012!!! And this is taking into consideration the fact that it is already officially sold here. You be the judge.

hi all, juz wanna ask, when will u all charge ur N7? will u all charge the battery when it is less than 10% or juz charge it anytime?

coz mine, it will automatic off when around 7%,  n when i plug in, it show usb charging but not AC charging ( ned to unplug it n plug again to make it change to AC).

but this problem will disapear if i factory reset, n will appear again after 2 or 3 days after factory reset =.=

anyone same as me?

Yes u need to unroot & lock your device to claim warranty.

Mine was dead at 4% recently. I thought that was weird but think nothing of it.

Should i be concerned?

i think u shud~coz mine at start, also around 4-5%...den it dead around 7%....got 1 time it dead at 17% @@

btw, urs after dead, when charge also show usb charging?
