Say, may I know based on the built quality for this tablet, do you think it may be worth getting an extension on the warranty? I know that Asus tablets usually offer 1 year warranty. There is a clause on the website for warranty extension (via premium care). My concern is more on the IPS display after 1 year.

Hi, just to share, i bought a cheap game controller VZTEC brand RM13 only and surprisingly it works with my unrooted N7  out of the box ! fyi only games with controller setting tweaking will work !

Yes, I have a iPhone but only 250MB data per month and for some reason the 4S uses LARGE amounts of data. I currently am using the RM18 for 1GB plan for my Tab.

I like the fact that the N7 is lighter and it runs on JB. Also, the N7 would be the first to get any new updates. Back camera (since I never use the back camera on my Tab) and no expandable memory is not an issue for me. Don't even need super amoled. Just sharpish screen would do. It's just the 3G that's bothering me!

I don't really play games. I generally use my Tab to read ebooks, check emails and surf the net.

I ordered 2 units from US. My initial plan was to give one to my hubby and decide on the second unit later but I think I need to make a decision soon before the price drops further

Careful when buying case from directd, got two book leather case from them for rm50 each, then realize that its defective because it shuts off the screen when I flip the cover to the back, complained to them but they say its normal and refuse to change for me.

I got my unit replace! Still new batch c90.

At first I Send my defective unit to Asus but they ask me go to the shop that I bought this tablet asking for replace meant which is Jayacom because my unit is only 2 day already defect. But they refuses to replace and send their worker to Asus center to confirm whether can send for repair.  But I get my unit replace.

The reason they refuses to replace because of tired to key in to computer.

i would like to inform that i wont be opening V3.

main reason why i folo thread at V1 was because want to purchase nexus7 as soon as possible. when open V2, i thought will have lots of fun discussion about custom roms and general interesting cool stuff.

I tried numerous custom roms, but i feel that stock is the best in terms of fluidity (maybe project butter works best on stock?) and battery life. another reason is stock rom easier to receive updates from google. I will stay on stock rom permanently.

another thing is that, most of the discussion here is too repetitive, always repeating on the how to claim 25usd, rumoured 32gb, 3g, complaining price expensive, discussion on manufacturing defect, and warranty claim. man....its gets really boring. its no longer fun and feels like a chore reading through comments here.
