Yep, you're right. Airbag is useful, ONLY when your seatbelts buckled up. Noticed that the crach test dummy is being buckled up?

Check this out, showing you with and without seatbelt, both with airbags @ 0:19 sec. Airbag alone without seatbelt is not enough to protect the head crashing on the windshield, and some more it's a Volvo!

+1 . dont know why got this dummy buckle seat thing? i always get this comment when take passenger . just a short drive no need seat belt .. i will ask them do u understand the meaning of ACCIDENT it mean something u not expected ..

comeone guys...i not encourage u all to buy that things, just to share it n that dummy buckle have in the market, that all..i also not mention WTS...if any of u guy need it, u can find at accecory shop, that things ade dijual, means ade permintaan dari customer....me also not to use it...just put 1 at passenger seat...haha...

guys. how high does prius C rpm go when driving at 110km/h on highway? there 's no test drive unit available at my area this few days. i test drive jazz hybrid today n happy with its cabin quietness, acceleration, handling not bad. most important to me its magic backseat can fold up for mountain bike or dog (no need to think of getting SUV in future). i know the only down side of jazz hybrid is fuel efficiency xD
whats ur guy opinion who has test drive both cars?

this question i also want to know bcos prius and prius c dont have rpm .. prius c also can fold down the back seat .. personally i think prius c can get better FC on cruising is bcos of the ECVT transmission . another factor i dont like jazz hybrid is bcos of no spare tyre ..

ic, prius c dont have rpm indicator. so, do u hear heavy engine rev sound when maintaining 110km/h?

im quite happy with jazz hybrid FC, slight better than petrol car. haha. to me acceleration is important when i need to come out from junction during rush hour or run a red light

jazz back seat not only can fold down like prius c. it can fold up. if u dont how it can fold up, can go google n c. bicycle can put standing on back seat ^^ bicycle can bring everywhere

mean like those mpv seat right .. 110km/H only heard wind sound .. 140km/h start only hear engine sound .. and full trottle from stand still also will heard the engine sound .. dont know how to describe if prius c heavy engine rev on high speed or not .. some will say heavy some will say hardly can hear anything .. if compare to local car will say no sound at all .. but if compare to conti car than will say loud ..

From first page info, rpm at 60mph is 1448.

Prius C is not like normal petrol car where engine RPM determine the speed. At constant 110km/h, I heard wind noise much louder than engine sound. The engine sound is like petrol car 2000rpm. You can join our PC gathering next time and i give u a ride. The engine sound will sound like normal car above 100km/h while above 140km/h

PC have enough acceleration when we need it. The reason we drive it slow is because we want to get good FC, which is the main reason buying this car. i tried to aim 27km/l thus i drive slow. I get 18km/l also during rushing journey. Normal drive I get around 23km/l to 25km/l.

Is good Jazz hybrid can put in a bicycle, but no spare tyre is a big NO NO. I just met an accident last Sat night at Mex Highway where raining heavily. Driving my wife and kid while run over a ditch and front right tyre burst instantly, have to change tire at raining night. Feel so blessed I didn't choose Jazz Hybrid.

Agree that Jazz hybrid has a nice outlook and interior. But for me, RM92k for FC slightly better than petrol car and somemore no spare tire. Not suitable for family ride.

If you really want to check the rpm, buy some bluetooth OBD device and plug it into your OBD port. Then install the software on your handphone. Pair with bluetooth and you can view various info on our PC. Those OBD bluetooth device cost RM50-70 only.

Something to highlight about the GPS. I noticed that the Garmin in the DVD-AVN does not have proximity alert setting. I've downloaded POI's for speedtraps and redlight cameras but when approaching that area there is no voice alert. It only shows on the screen. Also there is no option to turn on alert tone (the dong dong sound before the voice prompt). I usually prefer the "dong" sound before the GS starts to talk. That way, it wouldn't scare the hell out of me. Imagine you are driving alone in the middle of the night and you forgotten that the GPS was turned on and suddenly it starts talking to you.

I feel that the Garmin is somewhat limited. The Garmin Mobile XT which I installed on my phone has more function.

where i can buy this blutooth OBD.. look interesting..

about our built in gps.. no sound when you approaching aes camera or speed trap area.. it just pop up at the screen.. if any one know how to get the warning sound or alert sound.. pls share.. i really need ...

Just go to ebay or lelong and search for OBD bluetooth...

BTW, I checked on Tribe Toyota forum. Apparently our Garmin is an old verison which does not have proximity alert for POI...
