Anyone know how much cost for paint touch up for 'jumble' scratch around 5cm(some a bit deep...) ? fcuk that motorcycle scratch and run

My 2 accident records were both involved with motorcycles, sigh... hate these reckless motorists, no doubt they were always detained by the cops whenever there's roadblock.

don't think this will work...the some part of the scratch is quite deep, no paint at all, can see metal surface

If there's a dent, I won't guarantee it. But if not, you can try, I mean it's quite cheap.

hmm...got 'dot' dent at the side of engine cover...

You mean to get a DIY touch up paint? or send for paint shop to touch up?

Normally repaint one part will cost RM150-200. Repaint always depends on quality of workmanship, so always ask for warranty so that they will paint carefully to last longer.

thinking of sending to UMW to do touch up because the color is aqua mica....

If this is not too serious, I would suggest to find something economical to cover it up, not really worth to repaint the whole thing, it would be too costly. But no harm to go to UMW to check... does they do the repainting?

Damn travel all the way there and this shop(Loong Wah Motor) say the item I wanted is out of stock. Stupid huh.... so bought something which I didn't intend to buy( bumper protector, scuff plate and front led emblem logo). Which everything cost...RM2k....(Toyota genuine parts) original imported from Japan...expensive....

If I were you, I would just leave it. There is no guarantee that it will not reoccur (sorry to say this but this is a fact). Last time, my proton wira got scratched (with the metal exposed) badly not long after I bought it. I used it for 11 years without repainting it. No rust issue.

Just leave it first & save the money. After 2-3 yrs when more dents & scratches. Then one off repaint the whole car.

Only display car won't have dents & scratches, once on the road anything can happen.

i think any acc shop selling this emblem, it is meant for vios actually, since it is red color. prius c one is silver color.

ooo.. true, but don think they will have silver colour yet xD they are waterproof type is it? if kena rain or sun for long time it will come off?

how to check the car when we are collecting the car?

My case special case, I somehow submit document at around Nov mid week, wait for bank to call, wait for bank best rate, d/p pay at of the month of Nov...

I not in the rush for the car which the SA wants me to collect the car on end Nov, like I mention due to weather & other reasons. So the car was in show room for almost 2 weeks...

On Last Monday collect document, then the car transported.

I giv the date I want the car, easier lo. If not sure got the besok lusa for the car to arrive...

I also call up Toyota freephone mention SA promise this weekend.....

From the above, they got plenty of time to meet my request....

BTW, before get the car Toyota, I already complain 2 issue.

1) Car not yet receive, already request for feedback, some more send back hometown.

2) Dont you guys think is a bit impractical, u guys are paying RM2.30 for window washer liquid even not require. Come on, this liquid is more expensive then 1 liter petrol of RON 95. (wrote

email UMW). This liquid is a must for every service. Besides, this just soap & water. If this liquid, makes better FC, I x mind...

Maybe here the sifu can clarify any special with Toyota Window Washer Liquid....

there is a marker for automotive that repaint the scrach.. i already ask friend in japan to look for lime white pearl code 082.. but still not avaiable.. but i buy for my mpv pearl white 042.. and will take picture for other info.. the marker price around rm30 only...


last week i'm driving to hatyai.. but not with PC.. i seen many Camry hybrid over there never seen PC.. but i think camry hybrid still not in malaysia market yet...
