These are my preferred upgrades for Prius C:

1. Tinting - My first upgrade for the car since it is for the missus. I've getting quotes for Huper Optik and 3M ranging from RM14xx to RM18xx for the whole car. Now contemplating to use security film or not. Sigh..

2. Leather Seat - Next upgrade for us and it will depend on how long the seats light grey fabric can last the gruelling test from my kids. My personal take is 6 months! I had a good experience with Newton Leather in Cheras as they upholstered my Kenari way back in 2001. Sold it after 4 years... hope it still ok.

3. Bodykit - We have TRD design already available here. Modellista sure coming soon - 1 original set from Japan is enough for our local talents to make a mold.

4. DVD systems - tons of 2-DIN systems available in the market but you have to add steering control adapter to use the knobs on the steering wheel plus some dash covers to fillup the gap (left and right of the headunit). IF you don't like to cut wires to re-use the steering wheel, then Kenwood has the models that fit nicely on the dash and compatible with the steering control - I saw it in my regular shop in Shah Alam. List price RM1980 for standard and RM2080 with Bluetooth. I forgot to note down the model though.

Is Modelista bodykit alvailable in malaysia?
I dislike the TRD bodykit due to the lan si looks of TRD styling.

Actually... if u know the person or the shop ok la... but normally.. they ask bangla to wash your car... they simply wash..

Or worse if u wash near the road side type... they use beech...

Just my opinion only.. haha

I like the Modellista look also but at last end up installing the TRD one. Unless the demand is there, if not there wouldn't be any of them around for along time.

I managed to get 27km/l this morning on the 34km journey from cheras to cyberjaya with air cond on, going uphill and downhill on MEX. Yea...

Patience is very much needed and good control on the right foot.

Initially, I wanted to wait for the V too. However, judging from the price in US (Prius =24k PV=27k), it will be at least RM 163k (without tax), just based on the price ratio. It could cost more in actual. So, are you aready to pay for such a high price?

my pc got some sound at the back, i suspect around back door area, left hand side when i drive slow in housing area, especially when rear left tire hit uneven road, or when i turn right. my fren white pc also faced the same sound. do u guys experience this? the sound is very slow only, but it is annoying.

same here. at first only got in left rear seat area...then slowly behind also got sound, now driver area also got that sound.
complain when my 1st service . the CS said they needs at least 3 days to check on it. coz needs car to use din let him check on it

Mine was repaired at the Sg Buloh SC. They took 5 hrs to do the job but my car still had noise around glove box and sqeaking sound back seat. I applied some grease on to the latch and insert a cloth in the glove gap. The problems solved

Hi All, I shall be getting my pearl white Prius C by end of this week. Bought this car and traded in my old car for a good value and the Sales gave me nearly 8K discount, inclusive of the 5K promo rebate.

Just wondering if the latest Prius C model should come with BT for standard Audio System?

I had shout about this when I got my PC a week back and some bro here mention that its been talk about before in this thread. So I never continue to ask about it. Since now it been mention again, do anyone here know the actual problem of this click sound randomly heard from the car chassis. For my, not always...sometime brake, sometime acceleration and over bumpers(uneven road). Like click sound of a spring or clip or two gears came in contact with each other.
