my area also a lot of prius on the road .. and Prius C here got around 6-7 almost everyday can see PC .. while prius here everyday can see .. me too at first want to get the Prius but at second though dont want as it will attract some ppl to target us .. i have saw some on forum say at first they want to get PC but bcos of the long waiting list previously they change to prius ..

Booked Black PC in Sept....getting within this month after 18 Nov I presume....due to delayed shipment. Tried to request service/troubleshooting manual from SA but replied no such booklet.....True or not???

Guys, wanna check with you guys, how much is the interest now? I've been quote 2.52 from maybank and cimb, and 2.41 from affin and rhb, here in penang (9 years loan). However my fren just book a pc in shah alam today and been quoted 2.42 from maybank and 2.38 from rhb. Last week when the bank call me i tried to nego the interest rate but she said the rate is standard and fixed.

Btw according to my fren, shah alam showroom offer 7k discount and free tinted.

PJ is a big area....which part you're referring to? Old town? State? SS2?? or SEA Park??

HSD mean it work together with Engine & Motor. If you cruise above 60-70km/h & when accelerate, engine will kick in due to engine is more efficient in high speed & more powerful.

30km/l are base on good traffic condition & driving condition(light footer). Average are 20-22km/l.

According to Toyota estimates the fuel economy 35 km/L (82 mpg-US) (2.86 L/100 km) on the official JC08 Japanese test cycles and 40 km/L (94 mpg-US) (2.5 L/100 km) under the 10-15 test cycle. 

Under the United States Environmental Protection Agency test cycles, the Prius C is rated at 22.5 km/L (53 mpg-US) (4.4 L/100 km) city and 23.3 km/L (46 mpg-US) (5.1 L/100 km) highway, for a combined fuel economy of 21.2 km/L (50 mpg-US) (4.7 L/100 km), the same as the conventional Prius but better in city driving. 

I think I trust the US rating more, if not those American will start to sue Toyota.  but also depend how you drive

P/s: i carries lots of paper at car back (sales stuffs) would it affect the FC that much?

Book it fast before you regret later on. Where can get this kind of deal(5~7k)??

Actually car price drops every year. When we sell the car, the price will be about the same, regardless of buying in Jan or Dec. I have used my car for 7 months now. If the  depreciation is 10% for the first year, this translates into 4~5k already. The discount is to compensate for this loss in value. We can't really say it is a gain. By jan 2013, their car's value (bought in Nov/Dec) will be the same as mine (April), if we were to trade in. My personal opinion

No, it runs when the car moves, be it powered by petrol engine or electrical motor. Or else, Nissan Leaf, which has no petrol engine would have zero mileage all the time?

Just to share with fellow PC-ians, beware at Cyberjaya:
Just got chance to pass by the ditch I ran over again early this month at Cyberjaya. Obviously a lot of cars kena (see the rim scratches at the right edge).


As the result, the new tyre gone with all threads broken inside. My tyre man said luckily it is Bridgestone due to extra layer of threads, the tyre will burst immediately if poor one. At least the tyre last me to the nearest rest station. However, it cost me RM245. (Toyota SC quote me RM270++ and they don't even have ready stock).



Also the front right tyre camber angle gone, and Toyota SC refuse to fix for me. On inspection report, it was writing "Request to install camber crew (outside the workshop) for further camber adjustment". If I don't want to install camber screw, then have to change the suspension set (knucker, lower arm, absorber etc) part by part till the camber angle fixed.

Question is what kind of tyre repair kit they provided in HJ. A bottle of sealant and an electric compressor or just a normal tyre repair kit that most tyre shop are using. The problem with the sealant is that it won't work for larger leaks, and the glue leaves the tyre beyond repair. 

The manufacturers' main consideration is, of course, the bottom line is even those little donut wheels cost up to RM300+. A repair kit, on the other hand, costs about or less then RM100. Do yourself a favour and check the arrangements in your car's boot. That way, when you next get a flat, at least you won't be surprised.
