Pick up my PC this morning, gotta to say love it!!! smile.gif
Anyway need to consult all the Tai Kor here, since the door is keyless... wouldn't it be unsafe at petrol station?? Somebody could just press the start button and drive away isnt it?

Based on what Toyota explain, the remote key must be inside the car to be able to start(you need to try it). To unlock the door must be 3 feet on either side of the front door(again you should try it as well).

As for once it started, our bro here confirm that taking away the remote from the car wouldn't stop the engine (only alert with alarm inside the car).

I am still working a way to secure this. I think I will be able to work something out when I get my PC.

I heard some people encounter that keep your smart phone or iphone in the same pocket as your smart key. It causes interference and won't let you start the car. Anyone here try this out?? hmm.gif

yup the key have to be on inside left pocket .. right pocket sometimes after start ot this key not detected warning .. warning from the manual book stated not to put the key at the dashboard as the sensor will sense the key is at outside and can look ur car from outside when u press the lock sensor at the handle ..

My way at petrol station: Off engine, pull the petrol trigger, get out of the car, lock the car, pump petrol, finish pumping, unlock the car, get in the car, lock the car, start engine, go.

Always put the key in your pocket, anytime you leave your car, your car can't go far. In case if someone try to rob you of your car, just run. They can damage the car but can't drive it away. However, PC is not a popular model for car thief. One of the reason is whoever get a stolen PC, need to get back Toyota service centre for maintenance.
