Just place an order to a Prius C at Cheras UMW showroom with Sultan. Was given 2K (October Promotion) + additional 1K discount. I also order Pioneer AVH-8450BT which will be install by UMW's outsource technician. I was told by my colleagues (ex UMW staff) that the DVD-AVN add-on are being install by the same group of peoples as well. Anyway... being told the car should be ready by next month... keeping my finger cross.

Can you share how much you needed to add for the aftermarket player?  smile.gif

was planning to change the same model as well  tongue.gif

It's around 4K++ since I am getting:
1) Socket adaptor (in order to convert Pioneer's socket to suit PC's to avoid any modification on PC's cables)
2) Special cable in order for iPhone to works with AppRadio function
3) Reverse camera
4) Steering wheel control's adaptor

I'll take some picture and videos once its ready.

I should be able to pick up my car either today or tomorrow (was told by SA) as they just sent my car for tinting and audio system couple hours ago. Pretty nervous and can’t wait to get hold of her.

Anyway need to consult all the Tai Kor here, since the door is keyless... wouldn't it be unsafe at petrol station?? Somebody could just press the start button and drive away isnt it?

Based on what Toyota explain, the remote key must be inside the car to be able to start(you need to try it). To unlock the door must be 3 feet on either side of the front door(again you should try it as well).

As for once it started, our bro here confirm that taking away the remote from the car wouldn't stop the engine (only alert with alarm inside the car).

I am still working a way to secure this. I think I will be able to work something out when I get my PC.
*
Thanks bro... I will definitely try it out.

My way at petrol station: Off engine, pull the petrol trigger, get out of the car, lock the car, pump petrol, finish pumping, unlock the car, get in the car, lock the car, start engine, go.

Always put the key in your pocket, anytime you leave your car, your car can't go far. In case if someone try to rob you of your car, just run. They can damage the car but can't drive it away. However, PC is not a popular model for car thief. One of the reason is whoever get a stolen PC, need to get back Toyota service centre for maintenance.

Gotta agree with you on that smile.gif rclxm9.gif rclxms.gif

Drive all the way to Puchong to have window visor installed for RM230, remember to give them a call before you drop by, as I waited half hour because they ran out of stock.

Also as I mentioned in my previous post, my PC installed with Pioneer AVH-8450BT because I like their features, especially I can run several app via the screen (mind you, only limited add supported and currently it does not support iPhone 5)

Here's the video:

Bro, do they install for you or you just buy the visor and install yourself?? hmm.gif

Why I ask this is becoz they're door visor supplier and not a car accessories shop.
*
Sorry for late reply, they do have ppl to install for you.

Under the Toyota Prius C brochure mention that the wing mirror is retractable. Does it mean auto folding when you stop your car?  hmm.gif  But I notice that PC wing mirror at parking lot doesn't fold. Please enlighten me, guys!!!
*
It does not auto fold, you gotta press the button by yourself. tongue.gif

I had similar experience whereby they sent me the e-voucher but it was not e-credited online during the service. The SC service advisor was very kind to call up the HQ and e-credited for me before I collected my car. It was in Segambut SC. Just in case anyone get into similar situation, you can request the SC service advisor to call up and clarify with the HQ.
So, not at all reduce to wind noise?

Don't think so, because I couldn't tell the different before and after installation.
