petrol tank rust ady complain last month...just now just ask them to spray antirust on all rust metal under car...

would like to ask for the following:

1) wind issue solved after change small window (c pillar) rubber?
2) new ECU update? how may i know how is the engine response now?

i am wondering whether all service centre able to fix/update the above mentioned.

Most of the time, it's not a big problem but imagine you want to do a fast 3 point turn and the engine cuts off while doing so....

and for an auto car to act this way... am just finding it weird.

i think is a tuning issue..my 2 sen only. rpm too low engine easily mati..

What does the system update for the HU do? What's new? Don't tell me after update, reverse camera wont work anymore

nope, just spray antirust....in my opinion, bottom of car, even paint, no one would notice also....

when i go to EON service, the mechanic holding pieces of paper, those are buletin, dikeluarkan oleh (suddenly duno the english word for this) Edar and populate to them.

1. buletin about users feel the car underpower, need to cut carpet. (which the head mechanic surprised i know about this before he can finished his sentence)
2. new engine adaptation software for preve. (previously i go do engine adaptation using version 1.4, now is 1.5)
3. new system software for Bosch HU. (there is a cd which contains "System", "Navigation", "Audio")got snap pic, later upload.
4. spray antirust for metal under car, specifically certain metals that easily rust.
5. buletin about OWV i think, but due to today is half day, they dun have time to check this. but the head mechanic asked me to leave cars for few days. they want to check the car after being dibiarkan one day not driving it, then need to start and hear the engine start sound. (mine so far occurs once, which i think due to my own problem not press brake pedal hard enough, so not planning to leave my car there)

looks like Proton slowly sebar the problem about preve, very slowly....

need a week or so only can give feedback...

Hello guys! Am new here.. Actually been a silent reader for months la Got my White CFE last friday, CN 11XXX.. enjoying most of it, nothing major prob i would say.. But today it rained the whole day and was cool, during evening when tried to start the engine, the engine overcranked, and was jerking non stop.. let it stable for a while and turned off and restart the engine, the engine jerks again. A few minutes later when the temperature went up then everything only stable.. Was hoping it was free from the OWV issue, but seems not..?

this EON sc macam very pro and good wor...where is it?at penang?



keep monitoring if not always got overcrancking then will be no problem...and pls check got oil leaking or high FC or not..

After installed reverse cam still can get the update for free?

the accident it seems bad. Basher gonna create thread again saying that other car run 10km/h to make preve hancur.
Anyway, how it hit?

Weird thing happened to me today. I stopped my car at traffic light waiting red light to turn green. My car is idling in D mode and when the light turn green, I press the accelerator pedal and my car won't move! It's like it's in neutral. Shift to S mode and manual mode but still can't move. Then I saw cvt warning light at my meter display turned on. After that I put the gear lever to P then switch off the engine and restart it back. Thank god my car can move again after that but I noticed that gear unlock image displayed on SID all the time like some of us here having it with push start button displayed on it. Anybody else face this problem before?

Which EON SC you went?
I guess my preve need to check for OWV issue again, having the over cranked sound quite often recently, even happened in the afternoon.
Also, got to chase for the Eco tint claim from proton as the front wind screen they replaced previously had no tint installed...the way they process really slowwww, have to keep on calling.

many who went to COSE for service, most complain how bad the service they provide, most important of all, wait half day/whole day, only can repair minor things...

probably they will ask u leave ur car there for a week...

From the faq with punch rep, it seems you may face the issue if you're idle in d mode for certain period of time. Put in n mode when you stop at traffic light then.

hi, sorry not been too much help. Just sharing some tips n info which i believe many of u already know.

About tyre pressure. I believe all of us keep our tyre inflated as stated@recomended@printed at the car door coz over @ under inflated can effect on fc, tyre thread, ride n handling n most important part, safety. What printed or stated at the door is actually cold tyre pressure. When u drive ur car around 1.5km, its already hot, if u fill the air after that, its not that accurate.

The easiest rule of thumb to remember is always add another 4 psi when pump in the air coz hot air will cause ur tyre pressure increase 4 psi than cold tyre pressure. Meaning that if u already drive more than 1.5km, if u fill in 30psi(by looking at the pump meter), meaning that the hot tyre pressure is 30psi, but the real cold tyre pressure is only 26psi. So, if recommended tyre pressure 30psi, need to pump in 34psi, then the real cold air pressure is 30psi as recommended.
