hi anyone installed those k&n filters to their cars yet? how is the performance and fc has change for the car./
*
Never believed in all those. Stock filter flows more than enough air for stock engines.

Those filter let in more dirt, which defeats the purpose of the filter.

Finally got it working. I thought you press and release and turn knob. Actually u have to turn the knob while pressing.

Thanks for the tip.

My only prob with the HU is that it flashes sometimes. And the crappy GPS.

Latest update... car engine cut off twice when shifted into "R" since last posting. One time it sort of "shivered" for a split second before cut off while the other time it just cut off the moment I shifted into "R", just like that.

Bringing my fire red to SC next Thursday and see what they have to say this round...

alamak, sorry to hear about that bro.. i do think the reason behind might be the same as the what being faced by viperz982 below... might caused by low RPM or insufficient oil supplied to GB... better still, hope to hear from you what the guys at SC told you..

QUOTE(faizalmzain @ Sep 8 2012, 11:55 PM)
From the faq with punch rep, it seems you may face the issue if you're idle in d mode for certain period of time. Put in n mode when you stop at traffic light then.
*
i think that in viperz982's case, as what i understand from kristof's reply, is that it might be related to engine tuning... ie. the RPM idling is below 0.5, or maybe there's not enough oil supplied to the GB..

oh, to abg mat... if you're really DS Syed, just want to confirm whether or not you are still using the 012-211xxxx number that i received from you at a mosque in subang sometime back... hope to keep in touch as i am fascinated with your wonderful ideas..

eh... i'm late for my breakfast... chow!

Damone bro, then how was ur HU after u've done what Arthur has shown? Is the HU still blink/flashes? Crappy GPS can't be helped since it's on the HU map that is inefficient enough.

Oh, thanks arthur bro for the clarification. This however should be done by us long time ago when we got our car I suppose. Jot it down, then whenever we go to SC for service we can then check whether the HU has been updated or not I sppose. hmm.gif

if u see my video, i intentionally record longer when i open the version number....
that is the latest version....

one more thing, the buletins, all got dates, all the buletins' dates are last month only, means latest update given by Proton...well, latest date where EON get the buletin i assume...not based when the buletin released by Proton...

maybe Proton got the buletin few months back, but only release to EON last month....just my assumption la...
